Great place for a layover dinner for the night and if you are visiting! Originally, I just came here because I was craving tiramisu, but oh my gosh, the tiramisu was amazing and I absolutely enjoyed the pasta dish that I had! Walking distance from Hilton Beachfront Resort too and bartender and owner of the restaurant were super friendly and definitely make me want to come back for my next layover for some delicious authentic Italian cuisine!

Talk about DREAMY!!!! We used this venue for our wedding and reception— all in one and we looooved it. We did a full buyout of the patio for 92 guests it was absolutely positively perfect. Sara is our main point of contact and did a fabulous job keeping things light, easy, clear, and attainable seeing as we planned the entire event ourselves. When searching for a venue, we walked in and looked at each other and knew this was it. The hanging lights, all-natural lush greenery, simple yet elegant decor made it an easy choice and an easy space to hold an entire wedding in. As soon as we toured the space I reached out to Sara and got an almost instant response. Her communication throughout planning was entirely transparent and again, so fast. Leading up to the event, we got to build our own menu, table map, and entire evening. We were able to drop off any extra decor to the restaurant with some instructions and our day-of coordinator exceeded expectations when everyone arrived to the space. When you’re at arnoldi’s you already feel like youre in another world. But they made it feel like our world just for our event. The food is incredible, the staff made me want to take them all home with me to have as team of my own they were all so nice. If you’re planning your own wedding or even if you’re not planning your own wedding, Arnoldi’s is theeee place to make you and your guests feel so special and no stress.

We stopped in for a early dinner & we’re amazed at the food. We stared with the short rib ravioli and the arancini. The ravioli were great & the arancini were crisp & tasty. The garlic sauce that came with the arancini was super flavorful. I got the chicken parm. It was sooo good I wanted to save some for the next day. My wife got the angry pasta. She said it was great as well. We saved room got dessert. The cannoli were very very good. It had something other than just the chocolate chips inside & it just set off the flavor. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I chose Arnoldi’s for our wedding reception location and could not be more impressed. The outside trellis area was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was incredibly accommodating & professional. We dine here often because the food is some of the best Santa Barbara has to offer. The buffet style dinner maintained the same quality I’ve come to love and expect from the kitchen.

The best Chicken Marsala I have ever had in life. The pasta (white sauce) that came with it was perfectly cooked and with delicate flavors. Lisa was one of the best hosts I have ever met. Kind, generous and above all selfless as she ensured my experience was top notch. The restaurant inside and outside are both gorgeous. Must must visit while you are in Santa Barbara. Lisa and Arnoldi’s – thank you for making my vacation memorable.

Sara, Casey, Guillermo and the rest of the team were are so great, from planning our reception to the service we received on the day. We were in town from Vegas for a few days and multiple people recommended your restaurant. We made a quick decision and got a reservatiom within 30 minutes. Food and service were amazing and sitting outside enjoying the weather made for a perfect evening. We’ll definitely be back and you should too!

Absolutely loved my experience at Arnoldi’s Cafe in Santa Barbara! The service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. And the food? Incredible. Every dish was bursting with authentic Italian flavor, and you could tell it was made with care.
It’s rare to find a place that nails both atmosphere and cuisine, but Arnoldi’s does just that. This is hands-down my new favorite Italian restaurant in town. Can’t wait to come back!

We had made a reservation online to celebrate two friends’ birthdays. We specified that we wanted outdoor seating in said reservation as it’s one of the questions they ask when you’re booking online. We also specified that we would be celebrating two birthdays.
Upon arrival, the host had us wait for a bit and then attempted to seat us inside. We explained that we had requested outdoor seating and if possible that’s what we’d prefer. After some back and forth we were able to be seated outdoors.
Once we were seated, it took a very long time to get our menus and subsequently for the waiter to return for our drink orders. 3/4 of us ordered different cocktails. The waiter ended up mixing up our order and gave me a random drink from the menu. When I asked what I was drinking as its didn’t taste like the drink I had ordered he apologized and said he’d go check with the bar- I had ordered a vodka drink and ended up with a gin based drink. After some back and forth I said I didn’t want that drink and was getting a tad frustrated and just decided not to have a drink.
We were finally able to place our food orders- two of us got the chicken Parmesan. Another got chicken piccata and the other got another pasta dish. The chicken Parmesan was fine but definitely tasted as if it were a frozen chicken cutlet that had been reheated. The quality compared to the cost of the plate didn’t equate for me at all. The side of pasta served with it was also nothing special.
They also failed to mention or acknowledge that we were celebrating two birthdays as was stated in our reservation.
Overall, I’d skip this place. There are many other better quality Italian restaurants in town. I won’t be recommending this spot nor will I be returning- the price certainly isn’t justified by the experience.
