Great view you cannot see because the lights are turned up like a cafeteria. Ordered fish. It smelled awful. Slow service, ice in my Martini. Really a shame. Very disappointed. When everyone in the restaurant has their jackets on you think the owner would turn up the heat or close the door to

All the food was zesty and tasty. Drinks were well made.
Restaurant is aptly organized, well setup, and decor is nice. And to top it all, the Location of the restaurant just amplifies the ambience.
A great place for a nice dinner with friends/family.

The girls and I decided to meet up and get dinner. The reservations were for 7pm. When I arrived I found parking right in front of the restaurant. You have to make sure you go around the gates because they had some areas blocked. First let me talk about the views. They were amazing of the water and New York. The restaurant was very cute. We sat on the outdoor patio near the bar. We were served by Blaire and he was great and very attentive.
For my drinks I got the half pitcher of red sangria and boy was it strong. It definitely had major kick. The girls loved their drinks. For my entrée I got the snapper tacos and they were so good. The flavor was to perfection. The girls enjoyed their meals also.
To top off the night the bartender gave us some drinks to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I forgot his name but it started with an F and he was awesome. The bill came to about $40-$50 a piece. I definitely had a great time and will return.

So disappointed. Worst night out ever! My first Father’s Day dinner was ruin!! Upon arrival my family and I were greeted with, “we are currently out of French fries, lobster, Cesar salad and steak”. We decided to stay because we saw other things on the menu we could order. Boy were we wrong. After placing a order for crab cakes, they came back and said they ran out. We then ordered mussels and calamari, which the waitress came back and told us they ran out of those too. We decided to order a burger since the seafood restaurant we went to apparently ran out of seafood. After ordering the burger our waitress came back and said “ I’m so sorry to have to tell you this, but we are currently out of burger buns” she then went on to say “it’s been like this the whole day”. By the the way, the burger was is a frozen burger they pop on the grill. The sweet potato fries they served with the burgers. I got the old batch and my girl had fresh sweet potato fries. Who is managing this restaurant? Not once did a manager come over to any of the tables and said anything to anyone. After awhile i started to notice the frustration in other customers faces. Nightmare of an experience. Don’t waste your time. I don’t want your future Father’s Day or Mother’s Day ruin. Or any date night for that matter.

This is tough. I loved the Fish Market when it was in the same location and never thought anyone could replace it. BUT! If I base it strictly on taste and value the Yacht Club may have done it. The food tastes amazing and the pricing is great. Now the issue is they have too new of a staff which needs to learn the ropes a bit but It was good regardless. Were just accustomed to service being TOP Notch when spending good money. Now we will be returning and enjoying the Seafood Tower and Malbec wine. Loved it and highly recommend.

We had lunch here today (Tuesday) at 12:30pm. I believe we were the only customers in the building when we arrived. We started with the Frozen Strawberry Margarita and a Moscow Mule. The drinks were very tasty, except the 2nd round of drinks. As pictured in the review, they served the 2nd Moscow Mule in a rusty / tarnished cup. It smelled of rusty copper and had a metallic taste. For an appetizer we had the Guacamole with chips. It was definitely lacking seasoning and flavor. For entrees we ordered the Maine Lobster Roll, Snapper Tacos, Coleslaw and Sea Salt Fries. They were out of the brioche bun, so they put the Lobster Roll on a burger bun. The Lobster Roll was also lacking flavor and the Snapper Tacos were just sitting in grease. Today was our 4th time trying “The Yacht Club” and the 4th time we left disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful and has potential, but seems they need a new chef and management team. I unfortunately can’t recommend “The Yacht Club” as this is not the first, second or third time we have gave them another chance.

Great location with good amount of parking. My wife and I had a good time. Food was well made.
Found a bit odd that the server complained that it is “required” to tip at least 10% of the bill as a restaurant rule. This was despite my wife getting the wrong order. Not a big deal, but thought it’s important to note the requirement even though the receipt says “suggested”.
Will definitely go back though. It was a good experience overall.

The view was amazing, food was okay , our server Dima from Montenegro was good, BUT the bartender ruined the whole experience! My date went over to ask for Hennessy and the bartender said we have vs (ps he doesn’t even know that it’s called VSOP) then he shouted “but it’s expensive” as if he had judged by our look that we can not afford it. He was loud and kept on hugging a gentleman in a floral shirt and they were standing not too far from our table and I caught him looking over at us. So rude, loud, unprofessional and I don’t know how he got his job.
**UPDATE after second visit :
Went there again for dinner, service was great, Jose made my birthday extra special, food was great, I had oysters, mussels, lobster and the delicious tiramisu! We did not go to the bar to avoid the same experience we had last time.

This is such a beautiful place to dine.
You have spacious seating inside and outside with a beautiful view of New York and Hudson river. People also fish outside for fun. On a sunny day, it would be a perfect place to spend your time.
This place is children friendly and spacious to observe all the SOPs.
The staff is very friendly (and this place seem to have a staff that actually likes each other and helps each other).
The menu is perfect for warm days. You have a large variety(including drinks) to choose from.
This place also has parking outside (we didn’t use it though).
I would definitely recommend this place and will go back again.

We had a great dining experience at The Yacht Club. The Manager and all the Staff are very accommodating, friendly and so helpful with our group. We had so much relaxing fun. I will recommend this place and I will definitely bring my family and friends here. Beautiful and breathtaking views of Manhattan Skyline and George Washington Bridge. The food and drinks are great. Thank you for the great service and ambiance to our big group.
