This pizza was quite awesome, one of the best I’ve had in a while. I had the Supreme no mushroom. We didn’t know what to expect and it did not disappoint one bit. I guess there’s a reason it’s been on Main Street, Galena for 30 years and around since 1921 in Freeport. Thin crust style with a bit of well done crust and undercarriage. We did a take out order but the restaurant has a very old school Italian vibe to it and was very cool.

Pizza was fire! We ate the entire pizza. Service was weird. Seems like only one person was really working and she was busting her butt taking orders, making drinks and cleaning off the tables. Everybody else was just kind of walking around and not doing anything.

Food was excellent, service was prompt and he visited our table frequently. Very friendly vibe from all of the service staff. This was our second visit, but it had been a few years since our last. The red sauce is fantastic, and my son said theirs was the best thin crust pizza he had ever had.

Hands down the worst chicken parm I’ve ever had. Couldn’t even cut the chicken and it was so tough to eat. Lemonade was pretty horrid. Hubby loved the salad but thought the meal was pretty plain. Server was nice but it took awhile to come great us even though it was not busy. We try a local spot every time and this is the first time we didn’t really much. Maybe just an off night. Its pretty cute inside. Wish we would have tried the pizza instead but probably won’t be back.

The food was good! We had fettuccine with side salad and pizza was good. And ordered tiramisu was really excited to try it. It was VERY wet at the bottom. The ladyfingers were basically mush. It was also too low in sugar for my taste. I’m not a super sweet dessert kind of person, but this felt lacking.

Seriously one of the best thin crusts I’ve ever had. The salad was tasty but needs a bigger plate….difficult to eat without spilling. Have a soda, some wine or a brew…the drinking water is funky.

We ate here last year and this year while enjoying the luminary. We asked a local last year that we passed in the street,

We have been ordering here for years every time we come up to Galena. I want to like this order because of loyalty, but honestly this wasn’t good and it was expensive for not being good. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza. It was just cheese with bits of chicken on it. No sauce in between. If there was sauce, it was super thin and got soaked into the crust. Please do better.
