I was so excited to find an authentic Jamaican eatery while I was in town! Atmosphere and service was great! I tried one of the Mimosas which had a great flavor!
I then ordered the Jerk Chicken and it had the perfect seasoning and flavor, along with the rice and peas. Plankton was also good!

I recently visited 11Hauz. I was hesitant at first because of the comments regarding the lack of authenticity, but I think the food was flavourful and nicely presented. I also wouldn’t expect to get Jamaica in Utah so being realistic is essential for expectations. I’m Trini background and although our curry is made differently, the curry shrimp I ordered had the flavors it needed to be curry and the portion size was just right. The rum punch was just enough of a punch and fresh juice. Also, customer service was wonderful and the bathroom was clean. How much can you ask for? I will be back when I return.

I was not expecting to find an oasis of flavor but it’s here. Fabulous people making fabulous food. We had:
Ginger Beer – so punchy, this is the real deal. It clears ya up in the best way. I want this elixir on tap.
Jerk Chicken – don’t skip this. The heat is absolutely PERFECT. Crispy skin, juicy meat.
Jerk Shrimp – another absolute delicious banger. Dangerous how good these little bugs were. Eat the tail or go home.
Patties – both the veg and meat were delicious. I was partial to the veg because it’s just a flavor bomb but both were fantastic

The jerk chicken is my favorite. Very authentic. The beef patty is full of flavor as well. High recommended. The owners are extremely kind and sincere. Place is always clean too. 10/10

A wonderful surprise to find such delicious, authentic Jamaican food in Utah! The restaurant is family owned and run, and the food is all made using authentic Jamaican spices. They even source some of the food (like the ackee) from Jamaica! The drinks were all made in house and were absolutely incredible – the sorrel honestly beat the ones I’ve had in Jamaica! I only wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more food!! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to try authentic Jamaican food

We had the jerk chicken, fried plantains, fried chicken, veggie patty, red beans and rice and coleslaw. Everything was absolutely incredible. The sauces for each dish were top notch! The service from Sunny was amazing. I wanted to try the potato cakes and bread pudding and ginger beer but they were sold out. Guess I’ll just have to come back!

Fish, chicken, oxtail, every single dish I’ve tried have been absolutely phenomenal. My fav dishes so far are oxtail dish and jerk chicken. I am not sure what spices they use, but it’s incredibly savory. It is slightly on the pricier side, but it is worth every penny for what you get! I wish this was in SLC!!! And the service is great too. Super friendly!
