My husband and I have visited this Winchell’s three times, and unfortunately, two out of the three experiences have been unpleasant — both involving the same woman working in the mornings. I didn’t catch her name, but she’s an older woman who’s usually at the front.
The first time, she didn’t want to take our order at the register. As soon as she saw us, she walked away, and we had to wait for someone else to help us. I brushed it off, thinking maybe it was just a misunderstanding. However, during our visit today, it became clear that she purposely avoids us for some reason.
We waited patiently in line for quite a while, but she kept looking at us and chose to help customers who arrived after us instead. It was uncomfortable and honestly disappointing. I’m not sure what the issue is, but no customer should be treated this way. We will not be coming back here!

I asked for a hot turkey avocado sandwich and the appearance looks soggy and nasty, and the whole place smells bleached and the food could be contaminated im afraid to come back again here are some pictures please make your own conclusions

I am guilty of late snacks. Came to this place at 1am because it states to serves sandwiches all day. The guy that attended me said they don’t serve sandwiches at that hour. Mind you, the entire store has the signs posted around that sandwiches are served all day…. what a bummer

The donuts here are pretty good, the customer service is great and very helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were little fruit flies inside the donut display. It’s very unsanitary and can make someone sick.

Worse customer experience ever. Next time I’ll go to the local Donut place two blocks from there on slauson even if they don’t accept card. I rather pay a fee and used the ATM. On top of that they did not gave me a water cup for my puppy. So uncool…

Some employees here dont know how to be sanitary. An employee here thought it was ok to grab money, clean the counter top, and hand serve me a donut with the same gloves. They dont care about peoples health because she wasn’t the only one doing that. I wouldn’t recommend if you do go keep a lookout how you get served. They purposely burn your food and give you attitude. Use to come here often stopped and returned and don’t know how some of them still work their.
