We went here for dinner with friends and got to try starters, main course and desserts. How was it? Not good enough to want to come back.
We went for the meat tasting platter, cheese platter and steak tartare. The meat in tartare was hard to chew and lacked something to pair with and highlight its taste. I’d not recommend it.
For the main course, we went for fish and Chef’s choice with three types of meat. The two-person portion was enough for three people. The meat wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t excellent.
The desserts are definitely not their thing, and they were poor in presentation, as well as the taste. I understand it’s a meat restaurant, but if you’re offering desserts, at least make them good enough to live up to the restaurant’s standards.

The best meat restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything is perfect, from the quick service to the premium quality of meat and the very reasonable prices. We recommend the chef’s plank which offers 3 different cuts of meat for two people to share (37€/person). We took the cheapest wine (5€/glass) and it was excellent. The chimichurri and the homemade mayonnaise are to die for. A must stop for all meat lovers in Rotterdam.

Nice place for a good piece of meat. We took the 3 course menu and it was a bit too much meat (but that’s the name of the place). The steak was not seasoned that well, I had to add quite a bit of salt, but it was cooked well. The wine was good too and their desserts were okay (the creme brûlée I really liked, the brownie was okay, and the pastel de nata was tasteless). Next time I would probably not take the 3 course menu and just choose my own dishes.

This restaurant is a legend in Rotterdam and receives 5-star rating consistently. It’s actually 5+ star if that’s allowed and certainly an extra star for some of the very best service I’ve encountered. The meal was extraordinary but that’s already expected. Stunning location, beautiful ambiance, exquisite food. A formula for a lovely evening and I can’t wait to return very soon. Highly recommended!

If you visit Rotterdam you have to go to the MeatClub but make sure you get a reservation or you’ll be out of luck.
The service is top notch but the food takes the high praise. Getting the steak sampler per person is the best way to experience the food. If you like you meat more cooked than medium rare the chef will not cook it past that. However- and very cool I think- they will give you a very hot skillet to cook it yourself to the deserved temp. We even had one person who needed two skillets to get the job done but the staff made certain he got what he wanted. He seemed to actually enjoy all the attention.
Also, once you finished, save just a little room for dessert and a port.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotterdam! The service was great and the food was exceptional!!
It might be a bit tricky for people with wheelchairs, but to be honest, I wasn’t paying very close attention to those details.

Thanks for a great evening celebrating one of our daughters graduation. Everything from cocktails to the food and wine was delicious. You don’t need to order any sauce to this meat. So tasty and excellent. Also impressed that the chef made a 3 course vegetarian menu for the other daughter after some email contact. That show customer focus and willingness to go the extra mile even if your name is The Meatclub. Service was also excellent from the young guys. Next time in Rotterdam we come back. Many thanks!

Overal, the meat was great, atmosphere amazing, and service was splendid. But dessert wasn’t the best and I think it sat a bit long at the kitchen because it came to us already melting (see pic)
