Best food place in Maui!
We are on our honey moon from Utah staying at the Hilton Maui villas as owners here in Hawaii. The service was outstanding, we met the owners and they are awesome. Low costs and kid friendly! Everything is homemade.

Great customer service, the birria had good flavor and the birria tacos also had a good amount of birria inside (the consome was ). Elotes were bomb as well. The only thing i was bummed about is that they didn’t have aguachiles when we went. I was looking forward to those as i had been stalking this place for a while on instagram, everything we tried was pretty mild for my personal taste but that my personal thing. I appreciate that there are businesses like this on the island as there are many Latinos in the community, its like having a little piece of California mixed with Hawaiian ingredients.

Honestly, I highly recommend this place. The first time I tried their aguas frescas, I was blown away by how refreshing they were. You can taste the freshness of the fruit, which is hard to find these days.
The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. You can tell they put a lot of love and effort into their food. Every time I visit, I leave happy and usually with more snacks than I planned!

The birria was just, ok. It didn’t have much flavor to be honest and not enough meat. I had the quesadilla and tacos – Nothing special. Ive had much better birria in my day. I got the watermelon Fresca which was very fresh but too expensive for a watermelon + water mix 12 oz drink. Also had the cantaloupe horchata was strange… not my favorite. The service was great. Nice guy. The location is awkward. Behind the hele, which is fine, but should’ve been turned out to see better from the street 😉 birria needs to use more chilies in the sauce and more meat.

Hidden treasure in Kihei, a drive from Kanapalli but totally worth it. The young man serving is beyond sweet and the beverages and snacks were phenomenal. We tried the mangonada, fruit bowl, elotte and all of them were 5-star. Don’t let the location and the truck fool you- the food and service are amazing!
