I really like this place but everytime I order takeout something is forgotten. Like today I was looking forward to their queso sauce ($7.99 ) and only realized they forgot it after I got home. They just leave the bag at the front desk, and I don’t know if I’m supposed to wait for someone to show up or what.

We decided to finally stop by this Mexican restaurant and give them a try. Drove by this place so many times but never noticed it until recently. Service was great!! We were seated quickly. Everyone was very polite. Server was very friendly. Drinks were refilled promptly. I had to ask for a bag for my leftover boxes at the front and the lady was very helpful. Food was alright. I’d say 7/10.

Our first visit and this is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the northwest suburbs. We started with the tableside guacamole which was delicious and you can customize to your liking. The complimentary chips and salsa were also very good. The chicken fajitas came out sizzling like you hope for when you order fajitas and that gave them a nice grilled flavor. Shrimp ceviche was good as well as was the combination #14 which came with 2 enchiladas and a quesadilla. The inside was very clean and warm, which was appreciated. Our server Olger was super nice, very friendly and attentive. All the staff were very nice.

I don’t ever write reviews but this one deserves it. I came here last night with my mom. We were greeted by a very nice young lady that was extremely welcoming and kind. We attempted to go to 3 other Mexican restaurants last night and they were all closed because of the ice raids 🙁 , but Esmeraldas stayed open despite it all!! We were told they have to close early because of everything going on, but they still let us come in and enjoy the food. I ordered the combo platter with flauntas And it was AMAZING. The customer service here was Admirable, and i will definitely be coming here again!! Keep up the great work guys

Excellent service here. Very friendly workers and fast. The chips and salsa was great, especially the salsa had a spicy kick probably my new favorite around the area. The food was very good as well seemed a little more authentic than the other local Mexican restaurants. The Margherita was ok a little too sweet for me but most are.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. From the chips to the main dishes, everything got a different but more Mexican style flavor. The service was excellent even when the place was packed on a Friday pick hour 7pm. Recommended for a good dining experience.
