We had such a nice meal and wonderful conversation with the owners. This is a great, family run business that has been around for 25 years. We had a salad and 2 rolls, and they were all so good! Some of the best we’ve had, and we’ve eaten sushi all over the world.

Sushi 21 in San Pedro is always a great experience. The sushi is fresh, high quality, and made with real skill. The staff is attentive, and they have a good variety of rolls and dishes that are worth trying every time.

This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a people place. I’ve been coming here since high school and now I bring my kids. The folks at Sushi 21 treat you like family. They remember your order, ask about your day, and make sure you are ordering right. I love the Salmon Skin Hand Rolls and House made sauces (yes, there IS a difference!). No one makes it like they do. Chef really knows how to handle the Salmon Skins. Nothing fancy, just genuine people serving good food. Sushi 21 is the definition of a friendly, local spot. The staff knows regulars by name, and even when it’s busy they treat everyone like family. I occasionally order Chicken Teriyaki Bentos and Red Dragon Rolls comfort food every time. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and you never feel rushed out the door. It’s the kind of place you WANT in your community and we’re lucky we’ve had them for over two decades.

Been coming here since I was young and it never disappoints! The all you can eat is the way to go and for an awesome price. The family who owns Sushi 21 are amazing and so kind. They remember everyone who comes in to make it so personable and welcoming. The food is SOOOO GOOD and comes out quick! Not to mention they display it beautifully. Highly recommend, its a South Bay staple!!

We went for dinner and found out this place isn’t very good. The woman running the restaurant is horrible. She is rude and doesn’t know how to host guests in a restaurant. She makes you feel like a burden, she literally complains in front of customers. She refuses to help anybody with much of anything. I don’t even know how she’s running a business. The food itself is mediocer at best. The restaurant has a foul odor. I would never return here, it is was a waste of money. It was also on the expensive side for what you get.

Clean restaurant, quick service, friendly staff, and good food.
It was a short walk from the hotel and the sushi was really good. Salmon was fresh and delicious. The server was super friendly and attentive. Drinks were good. I didn’t try any specialty rolls, but they also looked amazing. Had a few basic rolls and they were really good. The egg rolls and sauce were fabulous as well. Also tried some fried chicken that someone else was having and I would have it again!

Im from the Buena park area and I came down here with a couple of friends cause we saw the ayce sushi sign. Maybe the long beach area is naturally more expensive because its closer to the beach, but off the rip, its 7 bucks more expensive then the place i go to. Tbh the price is lowkey irrelevant if it weren’t for the fact that the rice in the nigiri was fat. The ratio to rice and fish was roughly 3:2. Maybe I have been conditioned to a really good sushi spot and this may be normal so take my review with a grain of salt ig. I would not recommend the octopus, squid, and albacore, but please, do try for yourself before making a judgement on this place. The rolls are nice tho

Wow the food is spectacular. You walk in no way you would think it is this fresh and delicious for not just for an all you can eat restaurant. Full stop.

Kaisan has upped his game and has created some really tasty dishes. Sushi and sashimi plates are made with fresh fish and do not disappoint. Don’t judge its location because it’s a gem.
