Delicious Italian food in an open concept kitchen/dining room. Service was good, food was amazing. Everything we tried we enjoyed. Calamari fried nicely with tasty aioli dip. Also had a shrimp app which we enjoyed and some garlic bread. The entrées are definitely big enough for 2 people to to share or to have some to take home for lunch the next day…the whole group really loved the dinner and the staff was quite attentive and even took pictures of our group. I dont mind the open concept but it did make for a little less ambiance and I noticed it was a bit chilly. Its a large room with the bar in the middle of it .

We had a wonderful experience at Serritella’s on Fair Oaks Boulevard on Christmas Eve. Sharing a delicious meal with friends in such a warm and inviting atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. Everything was very reasonably priced, and the service was truly outstanding from start to finish. It was the perfect place to celebrate the holiday, and we look forward to returning again soon.

Food is solid Italian-American fare. Not my favorite of my life, but certainly the meat sauce on the pasta and the marinara on the pizza are flavorful. Friendly service albeit a bit slow. Ambiance is average. Again it’s solid, reliable, flavorful food, so we will definitely return. Haven’t found better “Italian” in the area. One thing I find bizarre is that a plain old 12-inch cheese pizza is a reasonable price, but to add one topping is $4?!! We order mushroom, and they put 20 cents worth of sliced mushrooms on the pizza. The pizza tastes great, but I don’t especially like the dough they use. It should be lighter and fluffier for wood-fired.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. The food was good but the service really wasn’t great. Our server seemed annoyed with us from the moment she got to the table. She might have just been having a bad day but we were there to celebrate a birthday and she had an incredibly flat expression and tone. The restaurant wasn’t busy while we were there. She forgot my drink and just seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else.

Be concerned about the bad reviews that are already posted here. First, the food is good. Pizza, pasta, brunch, all good. And the service when I have dined in has been fine. But I’m leaving this review because of a to-go order that was poorly handled by the restaurant and its management.

My 11 y.o. daughter wanted pasta for dinner but didn’t want to go out. I called Serritella’s to pick up dinner.

My daughter wanted the kids spaghetti w/ minestrone soup. She’s a vegetarian, so I ordered it w/ marinara specifically. I ordered beef ravioli w/ mariana.

Placed the order, paid and picked it up. I called my daughter and asked if she wanted to eat outside bc the weather was nice. I brought the food home and set up a table for us outside.

Unfortunately, the order was wrong. My daughter’s spaghetti had meat sauce, and the other entree was cheese ravioli with meat sauce, not beef ravioli with marinara sauce. The ravioli I would have just eaten, but my daughter is a vegetarian so meat sauce wasn’t going to work. I called the restaurant and the person I spoke to sounded a bit confused, but I explained what I had ordered and how it was wrong and she told me I could get the correct food in 15 min. I thought that was the end of it. Mistakes happen. I was looking forward to dinner with my daughter, but I wasn’t mad or upset about it, it was just a mistake and they were fixing it and I didn’t think much of it all. We were already sitting outside, and it was now about to get chilly already (this has been a very weird but pleasant summer for Sacramento!).
She had some bread sticks and minestrone (they’re both good). So about 3 minutes later, a few minutes before I was planning to head over, I got a call. It was another person from Serritella’s.This is when things started to get strange.

She asked if I had placed an order and asked me my name. I told her my name, and told her what had happened: my original order, how it was wrong, how I had recently called back and was told the restaurant was preparing the correct order.

The woman who called me said, wait, so you ordered the kids spaghetti w/ marinara and meat ravioli w/ mariana? I said yes that’s what I told–and she interrupted me, “but that’s what it says on the order, that means the kitchen messed it up and that almost *never* happens…” And there was a a real tone of skepticism in her voice. I was thinking to myself, what in the world is going on? Why am I having this conversation? On the one hand, it seemed like I was part of the restaurant’s internal investigation into what had happened with my order, but I didn’t care about that; I just wanted the food I ordered and paid for. On the other hand, I also felt like I was in trouble or under suspicion. She next said, “well I’m going to put you on hold because you need to talk to the manager.” And then I was on hold. Did they think I was lying? After a few minutes I decided I would just head there while i was on hold. My phone was on speaker and then the call ended like they hung up. A minute later they called me back. It was the same woman who said ok here’s the manager. The manager came on the line. All she said was, “Yes?” At this point I was so confused. I said hi I don’t understand what’s going on, I just called to get my correct order and then I got a call back saying I had to talk to the manager and then they hung up on me. The manger told me I had hung up on their employee. I said no, I was on hold and on the line the whole time and then the call just ended. Manager said, “Well we don’t understand because your order was written down correctly and the kitchen never makes mistakes like that.” I told her I didn’t know what happened, I have explained my order to four people there now and I’m hoping I can pick up the right one now. She asked me again what my order was, I told her, and she icily told me it would be ready in five minutes. It was ready when I got there, I saw it on the counter. But it took them 5 minutes to get it and bring it to me, I don’t understand why. It was weird and a bad experience.

Just had Serritellas for 48 people at our home
The food was delicious and all our guests enjoyed the lasagna and penne pasta and pizza and garlic bread etc – Sherrie handled our order and it was ready for pickup and was fresh and nice and hot! We also love eating here but this was a first getting food for 48 to go!

This was my first visit here. I was taken here for my Birthday since I was craving good Italian food, which in my opinion is kind of hard to find here.
First impression was good, the restaurant was spotless clean. The staff was very helpful, courteous, friendly, and on top of their game. They went out of their way to make sure this was a pleasant and memorable experience. The food was absolutely divine. The portions were a good size for most for me it could have been a bit bigger but it was worth it. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great Food!!!

We just had dinner here tonight for my brother in laws bday. The service was only ok. They were out of half the beers listed. I ordered salad and waited long past when the entrees came out and then the waitress let me know that they didn’t make the steak for my salad and offers chicken instead. I accept the chicken.

The bad-
The waitress added 2 full entrees to our bill that we did not order and never came out to the table. When the error was pointed out to her, instead of simply removing them she tried to guilt us into paying for them by saying “I already have them cooking and I guess I could take them off your tab and pay for them myself”. I feel that the server is running a scam that the owner should be aware of this.

I’m very disappointed because I’ve always loved this spot for a laid back home made meal but I’ll never be back after this.

Garrett and Kat made my online ordering experience better than the hostess, who answered the phone when I called she had the most could care less attitude.

The food lacked flavor over all except the clam chowder that wes excellent. However we had a hard time eating because there was no plastic wear or spoons especially .

I hope we can try again and eating inside.

I liked the people and place however my kid who will eat anything felt sick almost immediately. Bread they gave first was rock solid. All food was very under par I felt bad but had to spit out the chicken parmigiana. Sadly won’t return. Soup and salad was the best.
