This Vietnamese cart is parked right in front of Wall St. Plaza (88 Pine), and is very popular with office workers in the area. The reason being is that the food there is very, very good. Adding to that the reasonable prices and you’ve got a no-brainer for those of us who love Vietnamese food. I order pretty regularly from this truck and this time around it was a pork baguette. It’s full of flavor and is topped with a good amount of veggies. I always get the spicy version because I love that kick. This is one delicious sandwich that you’ve got to try. A few years back I spent two months in Vietnam (Hanoi), and absolutely loved the foodie aspects (no dog, though…I just couldn’t do it). I was able to sample many bizarre and tasty dishes. Whenever I get something from this truck it always reminds me of the streets of Hanoi. I can’t recommend this truck enough, as every dish I’ve had from there has been great, and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.

Fantastic vegetarian bahn mi. The bread is amazing and the texture of the mushroom and tofu is really good. It’s usually hard to find a well seasoned vegetarian bahn mi, but this one was very yummy. The person who gave me the sandwich was really sweet and very quick! The spring rolls are really good too!!

Not only is it an amazing sandwich but the guys are really nice not like at other food carts, whenever i order from them i really feel like they truly appreciate us customers. And that’s one of the most important things in the food service industry is being really nice and friendly to the people. The grilled pork banh mi is my personal favorite but i wouldn’t stop there bcuz im def gonna try the chicken and roast pork one day. This was my second time and on my first time the grilled pork was so good i just had to try it one more time but next time im ordering something different for sure!

This was my first of many visits. I ordered the #1. A classic Bành mí $9. It was even better than I expected it would be. This one man show has all the elements of Vietnamese delicacies. He hit all the flavor notes and the bread was exceptional. The bread makes the sandwich…and all the other components. It was definitely one of my top 3 in the NYC area. There can be a line. He takes cash, Venmo, or Zelle. He works really hard and it was impressive how he does everything in that cart. He even had Pho. Fortunately, it was a sunny day and I could eat outside.
