My favorite spot to visit. I always make sure to stop by on thursday evenings to visit my favorite bartenders, Makenzie and Makayla!! They always provide quick service and always make me laugh. A great duo to have serving behind the bar. I also love the addition of a full food menu and entertainment. Cant wait to see my girls every week

The Union House Inn has truly leveled up under the new owners, Josie and Big Ron they are absolutely amazing and have brought such an incredible energy to this place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for grabbing food and drinks with friends.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always on point, and the food? Outstanding. Dave is the star of the kitchen, serving up delicious meals with consistency and care. Every plate feels like it’s made with pride.

Whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite, drinks with friends, or checking out their weekly events, The Union House Inn never disappoints.

Stop in today and show them some love and make sure to follow them on social media for specials, updates, and upcoming events!

The Union House Inn on Merchant Circle exudes the essence of a quintessential local bar, offering an authentic glimpse into the community spirit of its surroundings. However, my experience fell short of expectations, warranting a 2-star rating.

Upon entering, I was immediately met with a discordant atmosphere, tainted by the overpowering scent of cigarettes. The dim lighting further obscured the ambiance, casting shadows that seemed to obscure rather than enhance the space’s appeal.

While the bartender’s enthusiasm was evident, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being pressured to make a decision. Despite expressing my need for a moment to decide, I felt persistently pursued, creating a sense of discomfort and unease.

Though the bartender’s intentions may have been well-meaning, the inability to discern social cues detracted from the overall experience. Despite his kindness, the overwhelming pressure to purchase a drink before I had even decided to stay or go left me feeling unwelcome and uneasy.

In the end, I opted to leave without making a purchase, as the environment did not foster a sense of safety or belonging. While the bartender’s demeanor was polite, the lack of attentiveness to my expressed need for space ultimately soured the experience.

In summary, the Union House Inn on Merchant Circle, while undoubtedly a local staple, failed to deliver a welcoming atmosphere and left much to be desired in terms of customer experience.
