K’Far’s menu features Israeli pastries – such as borekas with Bulgarian feta, chocolate rugelach, and babka – and lunch menu of salads and grain bowls, as well as toasts made with traditional Yemenite Kubaneh bread and pressed Jerusalem Bagel sandwiches, all made in-house. K’Far also offers a full coffee drink menu with beans by local favorite, Ox Coffee, and cocktails. We welcome guests on a first come, first serve basis for full table service. No reservations required!

Relaxed option serving Israeli-style pastries, small plates & drinks in a polished retro setup.

A Delightful Morning at K’Far Cafe Philly

I recently stopped by K’Far Cafe in Rittenhouse for a morning bite, and it was absolutely delightful. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how inviting the space is. The pastel interior, with its bright, airy feel, creates such a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

I ordered the famous Egg and Cheese Jerusalem Bagel, and it did not disappoint. The egg was unbelievably fluffy, like a pillow, and combined with the melty cheese, it created the most perfect, soft texture in every bite. But the real star was the delightful, peppery aftertaste left by the schug. It added an incredible layer of flavor that lingered just long enough to make each bite exciting.

To wash it down, I tried one of their signature coffee drinks, which was perfectly rich and well-balanced. If you’re looking for a gorgeous cafe with food that has complex and memorable flavors, K’Far is an absolute must-visit in Philly.

Great stopping in here on a freezing cold day. We got seated right away at the counter which has very cozy seating! We just had coffees, bagels and an apple-cranberry tart. All were great, enjoyed the Jerusalem style bagels and the scallion cream cheese was very good. Wish this was local to me, so many other items on the menu I wanted to try. Looking forward to a future visit!

We had a great breakfast in a freezing place. Each time (and it was often) that the door opens, all the cold weather was flowing into the whole place. I think there are enough solutions to prevent this and have a warmer place. Even the waiters complaining about this. In Philadelphia can’t expect a warmer weather during the winter, therefore recommend to take care of this.

The Bagel Sandwich is big. Don’t worry about potion size It’s perfect. Staff was super friendly when I visited.

I had the egg and cheese sandwich. It’s a little spicy ️ but I like the heat. Would definitely order it again. Coffe was good. The blondie pastry I got was good !

The only grief I had was I was next to the door and there is a lot of foot traffic coming in and out. Which is great for the company but not for the customer. Kept getting blasted with the cold air from outside. Ask for a table in the back or away from the door

Wish I lived in Philly, specifically across the street so that i can drop by anytime. First time trying Jerusalem bagels and they were divine. The sticky buns were amazing as well as the rugelach. Actually everything is wonderful. Must visit if visiting Philly.
A little bit of a wait to get seated but there is plenty of seating so the wait was pretty quick. Even if the wait was an hour it will be well worth the wait.

Tried a few items here. The Tunisia tuna was okay, but the taste was a little bland. On the other hand, the grilled cheese and the vegan avocado were awesome—especially with their house-made bread. The pastry was also very good. Overall, a good experience and worth checking out

Absolutely phenomenal. Devoured too fast to capture any other photos! We had the avocado toast, the artichoke boreka, a bagel with butter, and the pistachio sticky bun. All were 10/10 easily. So good we had to get a boreka trio to go for some friends we’re seeing later, AND a cookbook for ourselves. Definitely don’t miss out on this jem!

Lovely cafe with delicious food and great service. Anxious to return tomorrow morning to try more items.
We had the Yemenite latte, KUBANEH Toast with brown sugar ricotta & spiced apricot syrup, and the Jerusalem bagel egg & cheese sandwich today.

The pistachio sticky bun is a must! I also really love the Jerusalem bagels, which can be anything from a “classic” bagel with cream cheese, to more of a pull-apart flatbread you dip in labneh or cheese, to a full-on panini-like sandwich, depending on the variation you order. This is a great spot to stop by for a quick coffee or for a full lunch date 🙂

Wanted something different today. Stopped in. Small but cozy cafe. Table seating as well as elevated seating. They also have outdoor seating. Really nice clean establishment! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. Was good. Made a little different, but good. Also had the PitashioC Cinnamon Roll. Delicious slightly warmed up! You can see staff making the dishes.
