Over the last few weeks I kept getting people telling me about how good this place is. First I was told about the breakfast burritos that were amazing.
I had lunch plans that got canceled at the last minute so I decided to check them out. When I parked, I noticed 2 tables of workers having lunch and clearly enjoying it. It was from La Placita. I went in and was greeted at the counter by a very nice young lady. You order at the counter here but they have a nice dining area. They sell beer here also. I got 2 tacos, one chorizo and one al pastor. You can choose corn or flour tortillas, I chose corn.
Chips come free. There is a salsa and condiment bar.
My tacos were excellent and portions were very nice.
I will be coming back and telling everyone about this place. Don’t let the modest appearance from the parking lot fool you. This is good food.

This place is amazing. The food is so good and the meal sizes are great! Everything I bring a friend they are wow’d by the taste! I love this place been going here for years and glad to see them growing!

Chilaquiles verdes con pollo were incredible!!! Also had the Chilaquiles Rojos con asada. Both meals were great. Will definitely be back.

Made a last minute decision while starving to go check out this little spot, and it was amazing.
Me and my friend got the red and green enchilada meals and they were ready faster than I can remember. Both tasted amazing we ended up sharing our plates! You get a belly full and more for a low price. Horchata was some of the best I’ve ever had too.
I didn’t catch her name, but the service was wonderful. The woman that took our order was very sweet and talkative.
It feels like you’re visiting a friend’s house with the little sports tvs in the corners and handmade painting on the wall. Very cozy and very clean.
Overall A+. I hope this place is always around.

Not good. I ordered tacos al pastor and they were cold and the flavor was very unpleasant. It tasted like cold teriyaki chicken and the cheese was not even melted! Not even the rice was good!!! It was cold, hard and without any flavor. They need to improve on the quality and flavor.

Went in today and had tacos and def had enough steak on them also the carne asada was solid. Nachos were good too.

Kids ate the chicken and steak tacos, normally picky eaters, but they ate them. The chips are also homemade and taste good. Burrito was tasty. Reminded me of a place back home in Chicago. Only reason I gave it four stars is cause they didn’t have enough meat on the items(maybe it’s a Chicago thing). A little more would have been perfect. Atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Definitely will be back to try other food items .

Finally a Mexican spot close to home! Visited for the first time with a few friends and we had a great experience. This is a family owned and operated restaurant, the type where you’re eating Grandma’s authentic homemade recipes. We were greeted with smiles behind the counter where we ordered our meal. Menu is easy to understand and has a few items that I usually only see at authentic places. Moderately priced as well. They are very flexible, we ordered 2 meatless enchilada platters. Replaced the meat with veggies and beans. Delicious! Our other two friends ordered gorditas and tacos. Handmade tortillas on the tacos made them especially awesome. And top it off with a salsa bar that has everything you would want to put on your taco.

Hidden gem! The Al pastor is my favorite! The pork tacos had a lot of flavor and was in the sweeter side but delicious with the hot sauces. The beef taco was tough to chew my first time trying it but will give it another try next time. Overall a great place for tacos near us.

A good Mexican friend of mine introduced me to this quaint neighborhood eatery klose to his home after inquired about the best Mexican in his opinion. He raved about this small place in a smaller strip plaza attached to a gas station. I offered to buy so we headed in. Not much to say about ambience but that wasn’t why we were there… It was all about the food baby!! He suggested the Burritos, Nachos, etc but I wanted to try something different. So we went for the infamous “Chilaquiles Platter”… and I do mean “Platter”!!!
You kan get with meat or opt for the veggie option. We went for the steak. It comes with refried beans, huge piece of palomino steak, rice, salsa, fried korn tortillas, cheese, onions and top it with an egg PLEASE… perfection is what I say!!! And the complimentary sauces to top it with were an added bonus! You won’t regret a visit!!
