Ditch your fancy shmancy restaurants to explore this whole in the wall cafe tucked away in bellefonte. I’m a vegetarian and I’d the tomato bisque and gourmet vegan burger.

I reached out to Bellefonte Cafe to host my daughter’s 5th birthday after seeing an add for event space on social media. It was one of the best decisions I could have made! I used to be an event planner and working with the team at Bellefonte was fantastic from beginning to end.
After my initial conversation with Cooley I knew we found the right place. The entire team was so kind and accommodating throughout the entire process. They allowed us to come early and put up decorations, had very thorough communication, and excellent food and service. The back terrace has the best vibe. You go through a cute shed entrance and have ample shade and tables. We didn’t really need a lot of decoration because the whole area is so charming.
Throughout the party, all of our guests kept commenting on the atmosphere and how good the food and drinks were. I will be reaching out again the next time we need a venue space. Thank you again for such a great experience! We can’t wait to come back and check out some of your events like Cigars under the Stars.

We went there for brunch and a cocktail. Never been before and was very pleasantly surprised! The bartender was inviting ,the espresso cloud drink I had was delightful! The breakfast burrito was outstanding different/better than I’ve had before! Can’t wait to go back! What a find!!!

This place is excellent and has a great menu with a lot of good options to choose from. Definitely an eclectic menu with fun stuff to try not just typical stuff you see everywhere. Kitchen is definitely going out of its way to try different things and punch above its weight. Great drink selection and it’s awesome they work with Wilmington Brew Works for beer and Rock Bottom Roasters for coffee. It’s nice to see spots supporting local for real. The smashburger is awesome and love all the soups.

Surprising! Splendid! Absolutely delightful! Breakfast at Bellefonte Café with the Diamond Swing Jazz trio was pure magic. The cozy, artsy vibe paired beautifully with the rich aroma of coffee and the soulful, toe-tapping melodies. Each bite of the farm fresh breakfast felt like a warm hug, and the live jazz brought a golden era charm that made the morning unforgettable. A true hidden gem where great food and great music meet in perfect harmony!

We had been meaning to stop in here for a while and we finally got the chance to. The atmosphere is really cozy. We ate upstairs. The service was slow the night we were there but they were undermanned so I am sure it’s faster most other nights. The food was decent. I really enjoyed The Rachel Sandwich. It’s a nice little neighborhood place.

We attend weekly business networking luncheons here in the upstairs meeting room. No distractions, comfortable atmosphere, and AV available. The place has a great history, which one of the owner’s shared with us.

FANTASTIC SUNDAY BRUNCH AND MUSIC. Our server , Ari , was so sweet and attentive – the atmosphere was relaxed and eclectic – SO FUN ! The shrimp and grits were AWESOME !! It really was a perfect Sunday Funday Spot . We will be back!!
