Just wanted to share my disappointment regarding a recent visit to this place recommended by a friend. The pupusas were excessively oily, smashed, and the cheese was difficult to chew. Additionally, the banana empanadas were hard and did not taste fresh. This was a poor experience, and I would prefer to travel further to Popuseria la Molienda in Rialto for better quality in the future.

Horrible service. It took about an hour for our food to come out, which is way too long. The food was great, though! The pupusas are really good, and the huevos rancheros are delicious.

Be careful with the prices. They will charge you more than what’s listed on the menu. This has happened to me more than once. The first time I came, they charged me $8 extra. When I asked why, they didn’t want to give the money back at first, but they eventually fixed it.

The service really lacks, big time! There is one lady who is nice, but the others are not welcoming at all.

I recommend ordering to go and asking for the total before you pay.

This is totally authentic! so yes, the food is delicious, and the service is slower than Chili’s; it’s worth it. they made my super specific pupusa to order, were extremely kind to my elderly grandma, and were really helpful.
We got pupusas revueltas, a rice flour pupusa with beans and cheese, yuca without pork (she was so helpful in finding a good substitution), and fried plantain. It was all so, so delicious. I want to go back everyday!
The restaurant is just like being in El Salvador except that my brother could order in English because he’s not so confident in Spanish yet. She was very patient and professional.

I am a true 100% Salvadoreña and can really tell you what real Salvadorean food should taste like. I just move to the area from Long Beach and so I have looking for a good place for pupusas. This place had 4 stars on google and good reviews and the pictures look decent as well, so I decided to try them out. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The pupusas were just okay, taste was okay, however the cheese to chicharon ratio was not there. I ordered the cheese and chicaron pupusas could barely see any cheese. I also ordered a side of platanos fritos/fried plantain with beans and sour cream. This was the worse, not only did it look so bad (please see pictures attached) but they were sooooo greasy could not even consume them. It looks like I got leftovers, plantains that had been sitting there for hours. Also, the sour cream, I know that there are a bunch of latino stores that sell central American sour cream, they don’t even bother on serving it with central American sour cream, just your basic American sour cream, no salt no flavor. On top of that the staff, was not friendly at all, I ordered my phone on the phone, they told me it would be ready in 45 minutes, which by the way it’s a long time. My phone was ready on the counter and when I came to the counter, I told the lady I was picking a phone order gave her my name and she just said okay, nothing else. 5 minutes went by until I finally asked her how much longer, she told me oh it’s ready it’s on the counter someone else will charge you and give you the rest of the sides. The cabbage and salsa. A few minutes later I was charged which by the way you get charge a whole $1.00 if paying with your credit card…take cash if you are brave enough to go her. Would I ever order from her again….That’s a big NOOOOOOO.

I can’t complain about the food because it’s not bad at all. But the service is really bad I ordered popusas and they took 50 minutes to get my order done. The place was lonely two customers at most with and one mobile order.

I wish I would’ve came to the reviews before visiting this restaurant. To start off horrible customer service. We had a party of 7 for breakfast, the place was pretty slow, and staff would not allow us to push two tables together so we can sit together. Unbelievable that a business would rather lose business than push a couple tables together. I will never comeback and would never suggest this place to anybody.

PSA: THEY HAVE A “B” RATING

I ordered 10 pupusas to take home. I was clear in telling them to put them in separate orders because there were 3 of us with pupusas of different flavors and we were going to eat them in the car. But when I got there to pick them up, they gave them to me in a single container. When I paid, I told the man who is the cashier and he didn’t want to put them in separate containers. Aside from that, they don’t know how to make pupusas. First and last time I buy from that place.
