I ordered the garlic flavor whole fish and wonton in chili oil. The service was great. The food was overall good but the fish was a bit too fishy.

Absolutely delicious, highly recommend. One of our favorite spots in Syracuse for a bite to eat. Inexpensive and the food is fresh, cooked to perfection, and hotpot is super fun. Their regular food is just as good. We usually get fried rice or pork fried dumpling to share before hotpot comes.

This specialty dish, BOBO chicken in red oil was outstanding. Filled with too many ingredients to list. The giant shrimp was an unexpected surprise. This restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere, clean, fast service, and great food. A definite stop to eat!

Where I order from for a very long time. I like the food and for me their chicken is a must. Prices are right, and they are very nice. Some delays with orders can happen, still consider it to be a place worth considering.

This is one of my favorite places in the whole city. I eat here at least once a week, the hot pot here is much better and cheaper than at Kpot.

This place is a very good Chinese restaurant to eat in Syracuse. I just came from New York and Hot Pot LuLu’s fried rice is better than any Chinese restaurant I ate in New York. Their hotpot noodles is also very good at a cheap price.

We’re huge fans of hot pot, so we were pleasantly surprised when we visited Syracuse University to find Hot Pot Lu Lu so close to campus and our hotel. Unfortunately the location was about where excitement ends. Just felt like our presence was a major inconvenience the entire time.
Ordering is done by circling options on the menu, though that wasn’t relayed to us, you just kind of have to figure it out. The server didn’t take our whole table’s order and walked off while one of the people in our party were still trying to place their order.
Spices, sauces and other condiments were on a separate cart for the whole restaurant to share, which again wasn’t relayed to us but we eventually figured out on our own. When our food eventually arrived we were missing the noodles for one person and the server didn’t come by to check on us for some time to let them know the noodles were missing.
Overall, Hot Pot Lu Lu had a lot of potential that was wasted due to lack of service. I couldn’t imagine going here if you weren’t already familiar with the hot pot process and even those who are, may find their first visit frustrating.
