Orchid 7 Fusion in Dedham, MA is the kind of restaurant you walk into and instantly feel at home. The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere and the most inviting wave of aromatics; sweet spices, fresh herbs, and the unmistakable scent of dishes crafted with care. It set the tone for what became one of the best brunch experiences we’ve had in the area.
The staff deserves special praise: attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. Their enthusiasm added to the charm of the meal and made us feel welcomed from start to finish.
For brunch, I ordered Dedham Breakfast Tacos, which are served with your choice of Pork Bacon, Turkey Bacon, Chicken sausage, Shrimp or Salmon. I opted for Shrimp as recommended by our waitress. These come served with scrambled eggs, cheese and topped with arugula. They are served in plantain shells, and they were phenomenal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked; tender, fresh, and seasoned just right, while the plantain shells added a lightly sweet, crisp contrast. My husband chose the Jerk Burger, which was cooked to perfection with a delicious aioli that brought the whole dish together. The fries were exactly what fries should be: hot, crispy, and well-seasoned.
We also shared the Jerk Wings, which deserve their own spotlight. Juicy, flavorful, and falling off the bone, they were everything you want jerk wings to be. The
Plantain fries were salted beautifully, and the side of sweet plantains added a comforting touch of sweetness. Every plate arrived with thoughtful presentation vibrant, colorful, and appealing without feeling fussy.
One of the added perks of visiting Orchid 7 Fusion is how convenient the location is. There are multiple parking options within easy walking distance, including the Dedham Public Parking lot near Eastern Avenue and the parking area by the Dedham Square shops. Both are just a short stroll from the restaurant. After your meal, you can enjoy a leisurely walk through the surrounding area, which is full of charming boutiques, specialty shops, and local businesses that make for a perfect post-brunch outing.

Had the fried salmon and tasted like I was on the beach eating one in Puerto Rico. Delicious food totally worth the price. We came on a Friday night and I wish they had more waiters as they only had two with one bartending. Their hands were pretty full (they were working hard) with drinks taking a bit to come out.

Drinks are spot-on whether you want a creative mix or a classic old fashioned. The food? Every dish hits, from apps to entrées. I went on a Friday night with live music (sometimes karaoke too), and the vibe was unbeatable.

Great, friendly service! The food is excellently well seasoned. The ambiance is great for couples, dares, families and groups. Thursday is karaoke. Friday is a vibe with live band. Big-ups to Tolieth & the band! She has a great powerful voice. She never disappoints. They have Sunday brunch, as well!

The music is WAY TOO LOUD. I left the restaurant with a headache. At lease keep it to a minimum before 10pm where people can eat and have a conversation. This is more of a club than a restaurant. The Salmon and chicken was good but the shrimp was salty. The worst part is they served us a cold black rice while everything else was warm. The rice was not fully cooked. I was so disappointed because I drove for 45 minutes just to go there and the food was definitely a flop. The only thing that was a 10/10 was the passion fruit lemonade. A year ago I went there when they had just opened, the food was amazing. I guess they’re getting too much business now. Quality is definitely not the same. I’m definitely not going back there.

Never got an opportunity to try the food. We had 7:45 reservations. Place was packed and musicians playing. OK good so far looking forward to trying this new to us resturant. 20 minutes past our reservation time we are seated at the bar with promise for a table. 8:15 finally a table. 8:25 we flag down a waitress to order. 9:00 we ask when we can expect food, we are told maybe another 20 to 25 minutes.

Went on Friday night with friends. Didn’t realize a band was playing. We were seated did not have reservations. The hostess was polite and kind. It’s a cute small restaurant.
Ok to the food, so so so good. The drinks were good. Service was OK. Plenty of parking across the street in a lot and street parking.
I would recommend this place.
