2 Stars 2026 1st time at this location came a long way to get God Father’s pizza ( Burnsville, Mn and had a visitor from Illinois with me )
It was terrible ( service from Sky was horrible)
She smiled at the white family and acted like she didn’t know the colored family
She told me she couldn’t read the menu because of her eyes were bad !
She didn’t know that menu at all and she’s running the front in (cash register) big mistake on the owners- supervisor part she needs some more training
Lord knows!!!
The salad bar/ buffet looked like the food been there for hours/ days
The cooks didn’t have their long hair in a hair net!
The food took forever to get ( at least 45mins to an hour (take-out)
Then it wasn’t worth $50 something bucks
No more !
I’m going to Pizza Ranch from here on out!!
They do an outstanding job on it all
And it similar to God Father’s pizza

Was super excited to try this as I have not had Godfather’s for years! Ordered a taco pizza (not supreme) veggies on the side, 1/2 meat with onion, & the other just plain. Opened the box, no veggies at all & NO taco chips! Called to tell them & they agreed to make another so it would be hot. Decided to stop at the gas station next door for Doritos as WHY no chips for taco pizza was odd! Got the right order this time with cheese sticks, got home, & oh my word it was like chewing rubber!
I worked for Godfathers in my early 20’s, FIRST pizza I ever heard of to put ranch on (I was born in NYC) & it was awesome! This tasted nothing like the old days nor even one we tried a few years ago in IA! I don’t know if it was just the workers on today or it’s always chewy like ours was, keep the other pizza free or not; won’t order takeout again. MAY try the buffet one day to see if we just had a bad one time experience, yet if there was no buffet to try again, I would NOT waste my $ here again that’s for certain! Rather eat Domino’s for less $ & better quality!

Godfathers pizza was a childhood staple and the Brooklyn park mn location was a portal back to the 90s. Pizza was exactly how we remembered and so good. Unfortunately it’s up for sale so the fate is unknown.

Not sure what Tootie Tootie was smoking when they left their recent review. They blast the buffet, but post pictures at night, and only took a picture of a full pizza, and post a plug for a competitor???. They have a lunch buffet, not an evening buffet. Fake review. This place has been around for over 50 years. It’s a Brooklyn Park fixture. Still has excellent food and service. Will be a huge loss if/when it closes.

I came in at 7:07pm and I asked the Ruth the lady working how much it costed to go thru the salad bar 1 time. She said I couldn’t get the salad bar because she had just closed it down at 7 and took the utensils away. The picture shows what it looked like. Definitely could have made a happy customer and made some money by just saying I’ll go get you some utensils and help yourself. By looking at the restaurant they definitely could have used the sale as there was 1 other table in the restaurant. Extremely disappointed.

The taco pizza tastes just as it did in the 80s & 90s! Absolutely delicious & nostalgic! We ordered a small size $20 & it was plenty big for two people. This place does a quality job, we will definitely be back for more. Wish there was another location opened on east side of the cities.

I really like godfathers pizza. This visit the pizza had more cheese than I like but it was fine. This location is usually pretty dirty and staff seems confused. I root for them! Wish there were more godfathers in Minnesota!!
