Three generations of women had the most amazing meal here. The food is spectacular, and I am married to an Italian! My daughter was a freshman at NU., my mother was 88, and we had a delicious beautiful meal, and memories. Last Tuesday I was in Evanston waiting on my daughter. I popped in and had a drink. Ashley, India, and Kwame made me feel so special! How lucky this traditional Italian restaurant is to have such beautiful representation in their wonderful staff! Do yourself a favor and go experience this warm amazing restaurant.

I took a bunch of college kids to dinner here and we ordered 4 pizzas. All of the pizza’s were good. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and happy people. We also had a few drinks which were also good.
We had a total of 6 people, the service was good and they added a service charge of 20% and I was perfectly fine with that.
We will go back again to try some different pizza’s

I ate at Trattoria DOC for the first and probably only time last week. I ordered Carbonara and Prosecco. The Carbonara was not very good and didn’t even resemble any I‘ve ever had it was very oily. The prosecco was almost flat, I should have sent it back but I didn’t, I ordered a second glass and informed the server that the first glass was flat, he said the second should be better because they just opened a fresh bottle so he knew what he served me was old!He didn’t offer to comp my second glass o”and did not take the first one off the bill. I’ve been wanting to find a good and authentic Italian restaurant and I was very disappointed!

Love this place! Came here once years ago and came back over the weekend and it’s still great now. We got one appetizer and two half orders of pasta for two people and it was the perfect amount (and very affordable). The porcini mushroom pasta was our favorite!

Always fantastic! We usually get pasta, but last night I had the sea bass. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The staff is always incredibly nice and helpful.

The pizza with grilled pumpkin, speck, and hazelnuts was AMAZING. We both loved it! I love the creativity and flavor. Literally perfect.
My spouse said his pasta dish (which was spaghetti with italian bacon) tasted just like how his mom would make it. High compliment.
I <3'd my pasta (which was orecchiette pasta with spinach and garlic butter) and it was not heavy.
Cannoli for desert which had fresh strawberry slices and mint as a garnish. It was so good.
Keep doing what you’re doing here. Love this place. Service was good.

Dinner here was fine, but nothing special to be honest. The wine was decent, but the food was inconsistent. Specifically, most of the seafood was overcooked and somewhat rubbery in texture as a result. Noteworthy tasty things were the bucatini amatriciana along with the Tiramisu which were delicious.
