We stumbled upon El Taco Truck on our way to Birmingham. So glad we stopped by. The menu is simplistic with a wide variety of meats. The restaurant also serves fried plantains, churros, and street corn in a cup.
I opted for two chicken & one tripe taco. Very flavorful and fresh. Served with a grilled Serrano pepper! My husband ordered the BBQ Beef burrito. It was packed with flavor, stuffed, and fresh. We will definitely stop by again.

The absolute worse! When I called to find out the location at 8:03 pm, the person obviously didn’t understand English well and hung up on me. The lady taking the order wasn’t pleasant. The $12 quesadilla only included a scoop of lettuce & tomatoes…no chips & salsa. It honestly wasn’t worth the price! The chicken still had bones in it….yuck!!!

SO good. Really well prepared tacos, and some stuff you can’t always get (lingua, cabesa, barbacoa lamb). The street corn is awesome (it’s off the cob so it’s almost like a street corn soup but it’s got great, layered flavor). Definitely worth a stop.

Ate here many times and today I bought 2 tocos, 1 quesadilla and 1 order of corn in a cup. $22 for my order. I do believe they charged us doordash prices because a toco is $4.10 and the quesadilla is $10.80.
