Upon entering, the restaurant is beautiful. From the wallpaper to the ceilings to the art.
Staff was welcoming and gave great recommendations.
We ordered the goat soup which was delicious. The only downside was that the goat meat in the soup was fatty.
We ordered the fufu.
It was odd but good.
It has the consistency of mochi and the taste of mashed potatoes.
We also ordered the rice and goat.
In this dish the goat was good and not as fatty.
The rice was good.
We ordered a side of rice that was a bit dry for my taste.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and will return.
A+

Although in a mostly closed strip mall, the restaurant is decorated nicely. I ate there before going to nearby Loonies Comedy Corner. I had grilled tilapia with plantains. Both were excellent! The tilapia had a nice, spicy coating. There were also mild and spicy side sauces to add more flavor, which was not needed. The host/ owner was very attentive and explained the different foods, as did the wait staff. It is owned by a active duty soldier, formerly from Africa.

Order though door dash. Spent $20 for one piece of fish ($50 Total with delivery) without the side that it clearly states it comes with. Problem could have easily been fixed. But whomever on the phone decided to argue with me trying to persuade me that I got a good deal because it’s normally 30. false Advertising Food for a certain price and then claim we’re getting a deal. Just seems like a rip off. Wanted to badly to like this spot. If you order the fish and fries with sauce expect to get only the fish no sauce no fries.fufu was sticky not firm like it should be with sour fermented taste. Very disappointing in what I was givein today.

It was mine and my hubby’s first time trying an African restaurant here in the springs , and they did not disappoint at all! The service was so nice, and the food was hot and fresh. The food was filling but not in a way that will make you feel slumped afterwards, it was just the right amount for a full belly. The flavors were so nice and would definitely recommend for everyone to try and try again.

This meal, two drumsticks and fufu was $20!!!! This place is extremely overpriced! The service was terrible. My guest and I waited an hour for our food while two others came in were served and attended to right away. We only got a spoon and a roll of bathroom paper towels to clean up with. The soda I got was expired.

Two meals (2 drumsticks and a fish plate) and 2 drinks came out to $66!!!! Never again!

I will say the broth was good

Just had a chance to enjoy this restaurant today. Amazing food, stylish decorations, and nice owner. Per his recommendations, we ordered a fish, a chicken rice, and a goat kebab. I gotta say the goat is the best of I’ve ever had in America, tasty and flavorful, I come from a region from China that is famous for its lamb but this goat definitely impressed me, I even added another one to go.This restaurant must deserve higher popularity. Try it, they won’t let you down.

Very clean and ambient! Service is great. The guy who served me explained all the dishes I asked about and even added on dishes he wanted me to try FOR FREE! I tried the peanut soup, I tried chicken, grilled tilapia and the yam fufu. They give you warm water and a bowl to wash your hands. Very authentic and the food was 10/10. 100% will be back!

The food is amazing!!! Its delicious and comforting. The food tastes like a hug. The customer service is the best I’ve experienced from any restaurant in years. We were given a sample of goat soup. It was soul warming good. The food is like a religious experience. My husband and I are new to these levels of flavors. We are in love with this place!! We will definitely be coming back. We plan to come here at least once a month and try something new!!! I truly believe I have tasted greatness. I can’t wait to come back!!!

Ok so I don’t want to be to critical of the flavor of the food.
I’m not personally familiar with African cuisine.
I am not even sure of the names of the dishes we ordered.
The food came out on fairly good sized portions and the presentation was nice. The flavors themselves weren’t exactly what we expected or were used to. The goat had a gamier flavor than I am used to. I’m more used to it in Mexican dishes were the game flavor isn’t as pronounced.
Once you added the sauces it really helped increase the flavor of the rice and took some of the game flavor from the goat.
Not gonna lie the flavor was just not for us but it seamed to have a fairly steady stream of customers coming in that tells me the food is good.
Personally I was not a fan of the flavors. It’s not a conventional flavor I’m used to. But the portions were good sized and the service was courteous and prompt. I may have to try it again another time just to confirm if it’s just me.
Because it’s an ethnic food that I don’t usually eat I can’t really say yes or no if it’s good.

Food was delicious. The owner gave us a soup to try for free. Our me was wonderful.
The music was so enjoyable as we ate and grooves along. If you’ve never had African food before, start here. You won’t regret it.
