He let us know up front that they were running behind and to expect a delay with whatever we ordered…
Everything came out out as it as soon as we ordered…he was on top of everything and the staff was very very helpful.
Pretty pricey but whatever…we loved it.
It was an amazing time spent having dinner with him as our server…the food and drinks – crazy great!!!!!
We will be going baaaaaack ❤️❤️❤️
The menu has so much to choose from, we locked up. Food was delicious, fries were crispy, and I’m not going to review the brussel
sprouts because they were so good I don’t want to share.
Lindzey is MAGIC behind the bar. You will fall in love with any cocktail she shakes up for you. And it’s no surprise that you will – she’s a mixologist who specializes in creating cocktails. It doesn’t hurt that she’s as fun and playful as the drinks she serves.
Sean is the manager and he’s the boss everyone wants. He’s great with the clientele, supportive of his staff, and runs an awesome place. The vibe is fun without being kitschy and clean without being stuffy. Both their outside and inside spaces are perfect for a good time.
I’ve said enough. Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Lastly, the man that was playing music was overly loud and all kinds of inappropriate. His songs included a marijuana version of Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, a Jesus was a Stoner song and another song titled Whataburger fries about running drugs from Mexico to the United States. Numerous families left as well, food still on the tables!! Their children didn’t need to hear the terrible music he was playing! The Manager needs to take some culinary management courses! We will never return to this so called restaurant, it’s an overpriced subpar seafood place!
Tried the Connecticut (lobster roll), fish sandwich, and fish and chips.
Absolute favorite of the 3 dishes was the fish and chips. The fish fillets were thick, hot and fresh with a smooth batter. The house-made tartar sauce was great.
The Connecticut (lobster roll) was ok. Waitress aid this would be served warm with butter and it was like luke warm as if it was microwaved versus freshly cooked hot. And the portion seemed small compared to the photos I saw in other reviews. Just overall not didn’t compare to the lobster rolls I’ve had on vacation in the NE coast.
Would NOT recommend the fish sandwich because the fried fish used in the sandwich is totally different than the fish and chips. For the sandwich, the fish is very thin (more crust than fish) and the batter is like panko crumbs versus the smooth batter of the fish and chips. Honestly this fish seemed like something you would buy in the freezer section of the grocery store. The fish in the fish and chips plate was 2-3x thicker cut of fish. Soooooo much better than the fish sandwich.
sides: the baked potato and brussel sprouts were delicious!
