We stopped in for Aperitivo Time on a Tuesday and had the loveliest experience!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with kindness and a warm welcome. Each dish we had was incredibly delicious and beautifully plated. Pasta was perfectly cooked and the olive oil cake with basil gelato is what dreams are made of! The wine list is extensive and expertly curated, featuring many unique and rare options. The manager, server, sommelier, and chef all conversed with us and were friendly and hospitable. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return!!

Upscale restaurant, exceptional food quality, and meticulous service. Everything is absolutely delicious and made fresh on the premises (portions are small – view my photos). This is a 5 Star restaurant (currently rated as 4.8 star). Two levels of casual and relaxed dining, music is upbeat at a low volume, chairs are low seated but comfortable (there is high top seating in some areas of the 2nd floor dinning), bar area seats about 10-11, all areas in the restaurant are welcoming and spotless!! Staff is very attentive and I highly recommend our waitress Nadine, she’s professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. I recommend requesting her when you reserve online or call to make a reservation. Ladies their napkins are black . Bathrooms on both levels and valet parking at the entrance in this busy commercial area

Met all expectations. Every dish was delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly. Definitely gonna be a staple spot for a nice Italian meal and a nice glass of wine pairing. Attention to detail is evident. Already can’t wait to go again soon.

An Extraordinary Anniversary Dinner at Talia, Port Chester

We recently celebrated a special anniversary at Talia Restaurant and had one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we made our reservation online, the hospitality was exceptional. The restaurant called my husband ahead of time to ask if they could create a custom tasting menu with wine pairings as a surprise for us — and we happily agreed. As self-proclaimed foodies who usually like to micromanage menus, letting the Chef take the reins was a welcome (and rewarding!) change.

When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by every member of the staff and shown to a beautifully set table on the banquette, complete with a handwritten anniversary card. Chef Ian and Manager Brian told us they had been planning our menu and pairings for weeks — and it showed in every detail.

The seven-course tasting menu was creative, perfectly paced, and absolutely memorable. Each course could have been the highlight of any meal on its own: a velvety, smoky cassoulet soup poured tableside; an inventive grilled Caesar; house-made tagliatelle with lobster and Osetra caviar; crispy polenta with wild mushrooms and smoked garlic cream; halibut with chanterelles and butternut squash risotto; a perfectly aged duck duo; and finally, the restaurant’s signature tiramisu.

Chef Ian presented each dish himself, sharing stories about his ingredients, techniques, and inspirations — adding such a personal touch. The wine pairings, selected by Sommelier John, were spot-on and thoughtfully introduced with fascinating background about each vineyard. Even the Pastry Chef came by to talk about her process for the sorbet and desserts.

To top it all off, we were given a personalized printed anniversary menu keepsake at the end of the evening — a perfect memento of a perfect night.

Talia’s blend of talent, creativity, and genuine hospitality rivals any fine-dining experience in New York. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or stopping in for handmade pasta, pizza, or an incredible dessert, Talia is an absolute gem with a lively atmosphere. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our anniversary unforgettable — and so lucky to have this modern French Italian treasure right here in Port Chester.

Update: 8-14

Food: I ordered the steak and my wife had the duck. Both were fantastic. The steak had a nice touch of garlic salt and butter naturally flavored. I only had a piece of the duck, but it was tender, soft, chewy texture with just the right amount of salt to flavor it and nothing else to overpower the actual flavor. Cocktails were good, strong, and flavorful. The ice cream has their own real cherries on it! The food and drink are unique and if it’s own kind. I would definitely come again.

Service: Service was excellent. I didn’t need to ask for anything because everyone was attentive.

Atmosphere: It was a good date night. We were able to talk comfortably, chit chat, and not feel like we had to talk over anyone. The decor blends in with the dining experience and i think the details of the design brings a nice finishing touch.

Everything was sooooo so good. We got the lamb polpette (meatballs with a great bouncy texture), swordfish belly with yummy gremolata, bikini sandwich, tartufo pasta, clam pizza, and the dry aged duck + 4 desserts… And every dish was spot on and absolutely delicious. Full disclosure, we know one of the chefs and she is crushing it! Highly recommended!!! (If it’s available, definitely get the tiramisu)

Having eaten at multiples of Chef Ians kitchen, he never disappoints. We were well attended and the Scallops were fantastic, the pizza could be sold in Napoli itself, and Pasta is his hallmark. Can not wait to come back here.

Paying $14 for a dessert that’s barely thicker than a marker is unreasonable, and $30 for three bites of pasta is just as disappointing. For prices like these, I would at least expect high-quality packaging and clear labeling, similar to places like Felice. Overall, it felt very overpriced and poorly presented.

(4.5 stars) I really enjoyed all my food! They were busy so the service was a tiny bit slow but assuming they’re working out some kinks, I’ll definitely return in a few months! The chicken bolognese and olive oil cake with basil gelato were both unique and delicious!

Amazing dining experience. Our server Kendra perfectly balanced our evening. Her positive attitude, knowledge of the menu and wine paring suggestions were invaluable.

The décor and atmosphere were warm and inviting, the restaurant wasn’t overly noisy. Being from out of town we were able to catch up with family and hold a conversation.

Chef Ian’s passion and creativity shine through in his dishes. From the morsi to the mains every dish at our table was perfectly balanced and flawlessly presented.

Surrounding a nest of microgreens and topped with a perfectly poached, custard textured egg, the miso glazed pork belly special was exceptional.

You won’t be disappointed by this new Italian inspired addition to Westchester. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.
