Paris Baguette is a lovely little spot with a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great place to sit down for afternoon tea, catch up with friends, or take a break with the whole family.
The desserts are one of my favorite parts. They’re not overly sweet like many American pastries. The sweetness level sits nicely between typical Asian desserts and North American ones, which I personally really enjoy. The coffee is solid as well, and honestly, so many of the cakes look tempting every time I visit.
The shop is clean, well maintained, and pleasant to spend time in. If you have a slow, relaxed afternoon, this is a very nice place to stop by and enjoy it.

What a great place to get some pastries! Do you have endless amounts of different kinds in these nice clean cabinets that you can reach in and grab what you’d like to have. Everything there is so delicious and fresh. The staff is kind and helpful and the atmosphere amazing. Treat yourself to something that will blow your mind!

1st timer here..I just wished I lived in CA just to come here. I chose several items, but my favorite was the Sweet potatoe “stick/roll” thing. Caramel Macchiatos were perfect as well. Loved the selections and the sweet ladies at the counter. Wish we had this place in Florida!

First time at a Paris Baguette. Everything was beautiful from the decor to the pastries. I had the latte and almond pastry and the husband had coffee with ham and cheese pastry. Delicious. Also, I loved how clean it was.

Very pleasantly surprised! They have a *huge* selection inside, and ample space to sit and enjoy in a very well lit location (the old hospice thrift shop) by Whole Foods. Everything looked great – tried the blueberry chiffon cake which was fantastic, light and definitely had that blueberry flavor. Would love to return to see what else they have. Also, i understand many of the other reviews mention rudeness but I didn’t experience any of that with my visit. They were actually all very courteous.

Consistently Excellent – Don’t Let the Haters Fool You
I’ve been to Paris Baguette in Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and San Francisco easily 20+ times, and every single visit has been a great experience. The staff is friendly, the store is always clean, and the pastries, sandwiches, and drinks are fresh and beautifully presented.
It’s surprising to see a few 1-star reviews that feel out of place, in my experience, the team here has always been polite, helpful, and welcoming, even when the store is busy.
If you’re looking for a delicious pastry and coffee spot with consistent quality, Paris Baguette in Walnut Creek is a solid choice. I’ll definitely keep coming back—and recommending it to friends.

First visit to Paris Baguette in Walnut Creek and we loved it! Juan at the register was very polite and welcoming, explained everything clearly. We tried the almond croissant, chocolate pastry, and feta fig pastry all delicious! Coffee was great too. Lovely ambience, we’ll definitely be back.

Newly opened Paris Baguette with a great variety of selections. Watch your weight, just kidding, you won’t be able to resist these pastries! I used to drive to Dublin for Paris Baguette, but this location is even better, with more options and super friendly staff.

Great new bakery opened up in Walnut Creek, with the same consistent quality you expect from Paris Baguette. There is plenty of street parking and ample space inside to hang out, but no free WiFi. The cashiers are friendly and there was no line when I went and most of the pastries were still available for selection.

what a cute bakery!! i love the atmosphere and the idea of a large case of sweet and savory pastries you get to choose from with a pair of tongs. I had so much fun choosing between all of the amazing options and it was fairly inexpensive at the end. i highly recommend going with a friend and trying all of the yummy pastries from paris baguette!
