The food is incredible. The owner is so sweet. Amazing catfish, cabbage, and yams. Amazing everything honestly. I’m from South Carolina and haven’t been able to find real soul food around here, but this will be my new favorite spot. I don’t have a single note.

The food was all perfectly cooked and flavored. Me and my husband both had the catfish platter and it was the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and very sweet. The atmosphere was amazing, good music and the staff singing along made it much more enjoyable.

The food was fantastic. Fresh fried catfish and chicken. The collard greens were freaking amazing. Don’t come if you’re in a rush. Come here if you want amazing soul food. Also, bring your appetite. I got 4 catfish for my order. Great food, good quantity, and good price.

Food is incredible. Collard greens and fish especially, but the chicken, mac and cheese, and yams are super yummy (corn bread was a titch dry, but still good). She cooks to order, so getting the food takes about 25-30 minutes. Worth it!

OH MY LORD!!! If you haven’t eaten here you are definitely missing out!! Everything (fish, pork chops, greens, cabbage, mac n cheese and THE YAMS!!) were outstanding!! And we got the peach cobbler cinnamon rolls!! Nothing disappointed us! And it will be at least two meals if not more for us! I’ll be back (said like Arnold Schwartzenegger)

I wanted to love this place but I didn’t have the best experience! I arrived at about 6pm and I ordered my food. The lady said it would be 20mins. There were several black people in the restaurant along with a Asian guy with a little boy . I saw SEVERAL black women get their food before me that hadn’t been waiting. I thought maybe they had pre ordered but after seeing them get their plates then pay I felt as if she servered them before the Asian man and I. The food was GREAT .. chicken… spaghetti and collard greens but my TIME is important! I was LATE to work bc I was given a 20min wait and it turned more into an hour! I felt uncomfortable since I felt as if I wasn’t being served while other people were coming and going! She did try to compensate me for my time by adding extra chicken to my plate but overall I probably won’t be back! I felt a little discriminated against honestly .

I ate here in February 2024 and the food is amazing! The fried chicken is some the best I have ever had. The flavor is so unique. The corn bread is sweat and fluffy, a must have. For corn on the cobb they serve the little sections so they are easier to hold, and they are also uniquely spiced. I had a side of mac and cheese and loved the flavors of the cheese. Would definitely go back, would definitely recommend!!

I don’t know if it was bc I was fried or what but that fried catfish was fried so perfectly, it had the perfect crunch and it wasn’t dry. The green beans were some of the best I’ve ever eaten, whatever seasoning was added definitely topped it off. The Mac&Cheese was super cheesy and gooey it tasted so good, and the yams were the right amount of sweet to make me like them and I don’t even eat yams and the cornbread muffins weren’t dry !! 110/10
