Had a great time at Tazza, our waitresses was training another waitresses and they both did a great job, and made sure we got everything fast. The food was very good, our friends got crab cakes, and pizza, the wife and I got caesars salads and burgers.

Everything was really good, drinks are a but unusual but also good, we will 100% be back for more!

Phenomenal food, happy hour, service and atmosphere. The honey pepper pizza (I thi k thats what it was called) was excellent. The sangria drink pain killer drink, and whisky sour our table could not get enough of. All of their appetizers were good. The meatballs, brussle sprouts, chicken nachos, fries were so good. You can’t go wrong with any of those. They do an excellent job handling large parties and they provided excellent customer service. Will definitely becoming back soon.

First time at this restaurant. We had heard good things but had to try it for ourselves. As we walk in, we were surprised how busy it was being that it was a cold icy evening. We had not made reservations but the wait wasn’t too long. They sat us near a heater and immediately felt like it was going to be too warm. They were so kind to move us to another table. I am very picky with my water but the water was delicious. The main dish choices sounded yummy so it was very hard to choose. My husband decided on the shrimp and grits and I had the chicken Alfredo. Wow!!! Both were sooo flavorful! My husband has had shrimp and grits at other restaurants and he said this has topped them all!!! We will definitely go back to taste more of their main dishes.

Cozy, stylish, pleasant, modern atmosphere that made for a delightful date night out in ShortPump. We arrived to a busy restaurant but since the weather was decent we were able to get seated very quickly on the outdoor dining area just as the sunset began to fade into the moonlight. Our waiter Milton was very well versed about the menu and offered his take on some popular dishes. We started with the Oven cauliflower appetizer which was suggested by Milton ; and it was a great choice. Then we both ordered pizzas. I had a custom “Veggie “pizza and my date had a “White” pizza. Both were very flavorful and the oven fire gave the crust that added touch. Besides the ambience the beverages we had were superb! The “New Era” was right up my alley kudos to the bartender. My date enjoyed a non alcoholic “Juna” which she definitely found refreshing. Tazza offers an aesthetically appealing dining experience with a full bar, outdoor dining, a fireplace, bamboo sinks in the restrooms, a couple of indoor dining rooms, courteous staff, and delicious meals. I definitely recommend this Short Pump eatery.

My experience was outstanding! We dined here for the gluten free menu options. I have Celiac disease and eating out can be a stressful process. Tazza Kitchen served food that was safe & delicious. The service provided by Melissa was excellent. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

The food was good, but it was not as great as I was expecting it to be. There were a lot of food options that had nuts in them or nuts in the sauce that came with the meal. Luckily, I asked the waiter what one of the sauces were that came with the cauliflower and they include nuts in it because I’m allergic to nuts. It was not something that I could get and I noticed a lot of other foods on the menu included that same sauce so it would be helpful to me and many other people who I think are allergic to nutsto include maybe what that sauce has in it so that you don’t have to ask or mention it on the menu that that item includes nuts. Other than that, the service was great. The atmosphere was great. We sat outside. It was a nice evening and the food that we did have was very good. We ended up being moved because we were initially sat in the corner outside, and there was no type of Breeze, but they did allow us to move to a different table in the open that had fans in the area so it was a nice evening.

Great atmosphere! I arrived early and sat at the bar with a friend, where you can watch the pizza oven in action. Once our other friend arrived, they were able to seat us early! We shared several different dishes and a dessert, and everything was phenomenal!

Very disappointed. First time customer. Went to pick up pizza and it was cold, very small, little amount of toppings just thrown about unevenly. Some slices had one topping not two. I loved the ambiance and food looked great , but my pizza was a disaster and paid 18+ dollars Considering if giving it another chance or not.

Fantastic place. Took my wife of 40 years for a late lunch. The Meatball appetizer was absolutely fantastic and larger than I imagined for an appetizer. The goat cheese was equally fantastic and the bread is amazing. The sausage pizza was perfect and for a single size entree was larger than expected. Wonderful service and amazing atmosphere and background music.

My wife and I were in Short Pump for some quick shopping and decided to stop in Tazza Kitchen as we had driven past it a few times without trying it out. We were extremely happy that we did! We were promptly seated and greeted. Our waiter, probably one of the most attentative waiters I have ever had, Xavier, was over with water in moments of us sitting down. We had been seated in the enclosed patio where guest at other restaurants can easy start to feel forgotten, but not here. The patio was warm and had a nice atmosphere. Xavier, our sever, checked on us frequently and was prompt enough to let my wife and I enjoy our meal and conversation while still letting us know he was available. The most impressive part of this restaurant was most definitely the service provided by Xavier. He took his role as a waiter to the next level, truly seeming to enjoy it and own it as his craft. We will certainly be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fresh and enjoyable meal and atmosphere.

Came back a second time after such a good experience and found that it was not a fluke. Our server the second time was in training, Alex, along with his trainer Melissa, and they were both spectacular as well. We plan on making this a regular stop moving forward.

11/2025. We still come here regularly. Food is great. Occasionally you do get a fluke server that will make a mistake, but it happens. Current favorite food here is the Honey Harrissa Bowl with a Crab Cake!
