Don’t do it. First my chicken was raw. I had to drive back for a new order and they did nothing for me. Just replaced it. When I started eating it I noticed it smelled. The chicken stunk. And the rice wasn’t cooked all the way. I threw it all away. Never going back. Whoever works in the kitchen has no idea what they are doing. Better off getting the buffet at Shoprite across the street.

Don’t waste your money in this place. I did and regret it, I usually go to “China Garden” on Mt. Pleasant but it was closed so I gave this place a shot. Ordered beef with Chinese vegetables, Chicken fried rice and Dumplings (which was the only decently prepared dish).
Beef and vegetables were a joke of a portion, barely any beef and veggies, when I opened it I could literally count how many pieces were on the container and you could see the bottom. The fried rice had barely any chicken or vegetables and was halfway cooked. Called the place to let them know and the guy who picked up the phone got offended. If you don’t believe look at the pictures. Never again.

I grew up in Livingston and used to get food from here pretty frequently with my family because it was the only Chinese place that had an extensive vegetarian menu complete with fake meat dishes (this was in the 90s, long before the current “plant-based” trend). We were visiting friends this weekend and ordered from here again, the food is just as good as I remembered. Vegetarian General Tso’s chicken and vegetarian beef lo mein are my personal favorites. Prices are very reasonable, and have been for decades!

I have ordered from this restaurant for many years. It may not look fancy but the food is good. I never had an issue with the quality or the portions.

Its no wonder the food was ready in 15 minutes, the vegetables in every dish was still raw and only half cooked, even in the egg foo young which is deep fried. The rice was the opposite and was very sticky and mushy. Food had a homemade taste which was kinda disappointing when I had a craving for American Chinese food and the noodles had a really strong ginger flavor.

The orange chicken is always so good – not overcooked as at many take-out restaurants. The shrimp toast was excellent.

I have been ordering food here for 12 years, but have always been treated like a stransir. Today was the last straw, when I asked for noodles for my soup and then discovered I was being charged for it. I asked how was I supposed to know that noodles are extra? The server laughed at me and said “noodles with a lunch have always been extra”. I did not appreciate the patronizing tone, and I will be looking for another chinese restaurant in West Orange, one that is more cordial to their customers.

The rice was bland and had a burnt taste, the wings were stale, and the egg roll was not stuffed also overcooked on outside. Overall the price was great but the food was trash.

Solid take out option. Family owned and run, everything is fresh and made to order. Vegetarian specialties are abundant. The vegetables are very fresh. I have always loved their chicken or pork with garlic sauce. Tough to top their version in this area.

Food was NOT fresh. Ordered general tsao chicken and after several parts of the breading were too hard to eat i tossed the rest. Completely lost my appetite trying to pick through the chicken.

Steamed dumplings were very thick (some might prefer this though) i do not.

Wife enjoyed her food so i left two stars instead of one. Will never order here again. Actually ordered here by accident
