Brother Fox is Inspired by the backyard barbecues and the spirit of fellowship inspired by the former church that houses us. We pay tribute to the rugged individualism of Pensacola’s unique historic cultural significance, specifically its Spanish influence. Real and super-rustic, the kitchen presents Old World cookery at its roots, with all the layers peeled back. Brother Fox utilizes a live-fire approach to cooking most everything that we serve, from coal-roasted oysters, to Carne Asada for two, served with tortillas. Our beautiful outdoor seating sets the stage for a casual meet up with friends for a glass of wine from regions near and far or carafes of Margaritas.

Our waitress was incredibly attentive and accommodating. My husband is gluten-free, and she was very conscious about making sure our dishes were safe while setting aside any sauce, bread, and croutons so I could still enjoy them.
The only miss was the sangria, which leaned overly sweet and overpowered the food. It felt like this cocktail didn’t quite match the same level of balance and intention as the food. Truly the only reason it didn’t get a five star.
Drinks were also outstanding so don’t forget to go hangout in the bar for an amazing cocktail Great service from our waitress Megan and our bartender!!!
This place is perfect for a date night. It’s definitely one of the nicest restaurants in the area, with a vibe that hits that sweet spot between classy and comfortable. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and a place that feels special, Brother Fox is it.
Anyways, been meaning to visit this church come spanish themed spot with boutique hotel to boot.
Thanks for having G4 and responably priced. Please carry something alcohol alternative it’s ok others are doing it.
Loved the vibe here especially the wood burning outdoor kitchen stich.
Rarely does service rise to the level of the cuisine, but at Brother Fox, it is an equal partner in the dining symphony. Our server, Megan, was the consummate professional: intuitive, gracious, and possessing an effortless warmth that elevated the entire experience. She moved with a quiet confidence, anticipating needs before they arose, a flawless conductor of the evening’s flow. Brother Fox is not merely a restaurant; it is an essential gastronomic destination. A resounding five stars.
We started at Sister Hen for drinks—the candlelit ambiance is very intimate, & the drinks menu had a lovely variety, even with a dedicated NA section. The Bees Knees was my fave—so delicious and perfectly balanced.
We were escorted through another secret door to our dinner reservation where we had the calamari special (nice touch with the homemade fried pickles in the mix) and the charbroiled oysters, which were packed with flavor!
For mains we had the snapper special, the octopus, & the caviar special. The fish was a perfectly cooked generous sized filet. Octopus was tender and had great flavor. Caviar special had a goat cheese foam and the lightest, crispiest homemade chips making for the perfect bites.
We loved it all!
Our server, George, was excellent! We love when a server knows the menu well & can help us deliberate on enough but not too much food while making sure we don’t miss out on anything.
Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the outdoor seating next time!
