I went for the drinks but I couldn’t resist the sliders and sweet potato fries. Food was hot and everything tasted good. I tried a Raspberry Lemonade Nitro of some sort and it was delicious!(if you don’t like really strong beer I’d try this one, it’s very smooth) Oh and Trivia Tuesday! I’ll be back!

Also! Lots of seating options, booths, bar rail, high tops, ground level you name it!

Everything about this place was great! I ordered a drink with gin, lemonade, and grapefruit juice. It was well balanced and super refreshing. My partner ordered an espresso martini that was equally delicious. Our waiter was cute, kind, and funny. He accidentally dumped a whole glass of water across our table and really went out of his way to make up for it (gave us 20% off our drinks) even though it really wasn’t a problem for us. I ordered the fish and chips. The dish was cooked perfectly. The batter was crispy and not soggy like many fish places. Portions were perfect and the flavor of the fish, the dipping sauce, and the garlic fries were all amazing.

I also noticed a pride flag up above the bar, which for me was refreshing. I like businesses that openly support the LGBTQ+ community. We definitely plan to come back.

The food was great and atmosphere not bad either. Will definitely go back. The only thing I didn’t like is the sign said seat yourself but open tables were not cleared so I moved the bottles and stuff to the next table over. Not how I like to start my eating experiences. I had a flight of 7 beers the midtown optimal let me down but the strawberry hibiscus ale was amazing. I’d say out of the 7 at least 3/4 of them weren’t too watery so your chances of good beer are high. Loved the nachos.

Disclaimer: I don’t drink so this review is only for food and service as well as atmosphere.

The waiter was very nice and immediately took our orders and drinks. We waited 50 minutes for the food. I’m not one to complain but almost an hour wait for food is pretty long especially since the food is fair at best. For a brewery the options are better than other places in the area and they were good. I mostly enjoyed the truffle fries but they were a tad bit salty. The food was fine, but definitely not worth the wait.
The most popular item ordered was the chicken tenders and waffle fries, I didn’t try it but all my friends did recommend it.
The atmosphere is fairly quiet, there weren’t many people there during lunch so that’s good.

Ya, had a great time at Midtown tonight. Went to see and hear Gwendolyn Doerfler and to hang out with some dear friends. Our server, Riley, was really doing a bang-up job. Had a couple of reasonably good beers and a pretty good burger (a little dry), enjoyed some live music and football playoffs. Great place to do it. My son complained that the chairs became uncomfortable after being there for a couple of hours. Other than that no complaints. Would go back anytime.

Amazing experience at midtown. The pretzels with the garlic cream cheese sauce was amazing. I’ve been here twice and both times I got a burger and added egg and bacon and it was phenomenal. My wife got a burger the first time and second time she got the fish tacos and everything we’ve had here is just been really really amazing.higher than expectations in terms of food quality they do great job here. The beers also really amazing. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Really liked this place. It was quite busy so the service was just a little off. But, overall a great place to eat and have a drink! Good drink and food specials.

A great place for breakfast in the middle of downtown Lansing! Amazing collection of beers for beer lovers. They have beer dlights which cost you about $2/sample. They even have Mimosa flights for hard drink lovers. I wish there were more food options for breakfast.
I would recommend their Avocado toast which was really good!
Overall, a good place for breakfast with some on tap beers!

Love this place! They have such delicious food, great drinks, awesome service, and a really nice environment. They do a mimosa flight that is really fun and the flavors are all so yummy! And probably my favorite thing about them is that they allow you to sub fries for chips and salsa when ordering tacos!

Ordered a flight $8 with 4 holiday 5oz pour, happy-hour pub pickles ($5), Dakotas Pretzel Burger ($14), Smokehouse ‘Shroom and Swiss ($14), Fish and Chips ($14) and Jordan’s Hot Honey ($14) with garlic fried and sweet potato waffles fries. Food is OK; nothing bad nor particularly stands out…not sure it’s low on staff due to the holidays. The beer selection are great; too many to choose from and every one of them come with a sample 5oz pour. Ordered additional PastryArchy Unicorn Farts After Dark ($4) and Midtown Strawberry Hibiscus Ale ($2).
