Not only were they able to accommodate our large group for dinner, they also provided great service to everyone in the restaurant (it was packed that evening). Best to make reservations if you have a larger group. If you’re not into bold flavors, I would suggest you look elsewhere… lol
Some of the dishes we tried:
1. Butter Chicken: A staple of any Indian cuisine and simply one of the best I’ve tried anywhere. The flavors were spot on, and the smoothness of the curry was great. Paired with some garlic naan bread or rice and this dish is a home run: 5/5 for me on this dish.
2. Coconut Chicken: Probably my favorite dish at this place. Everything about it was spot on and delicious. Flavor, consistency, texture, they simply nailed it. Throw in some garlic naan bread and this was a home run for me. 5/5 once again.
3. Chicken Tikka Masala: Bold, rich and adventurous is how I would describe this dish. I needed rice with this dish, as it was a little too bold for me on its own. 4/5 for me on this dish.
4. Prawn Pakora: The prawns were nicely presented and the flavors matched the appearance. The batter thickness was good, but the prawns were slightly dry (possibly fried a little too long?) A good option, but we had much better appetizers lined up. 4/5 for me on this dish.
5. Garlic Naan Bread: 5/5 on this one for me. Texture, thickness, consistency was bang on.
6. Malai Kofta: We tried this dish on the recommendation of the staff. It’s a cold appetizer, which was a nice change of pace and experience. Once again, good strong flavors with a nice crunch on the initial bite. A solid vegetarian option for those that want it. 4/5 for me on this one.
7. Chilli Fries: Ok, I didn’t have much expectations for this dish when we ordered it. Boy was I wrong. It was simply amazing. It had the right amount of crunch, flavor and texture to rival any fries out there. We chose medium for spiciness level and it was spot on. 5/5 on this dish for me.
8. Manny Wings: Good option if you want to play it safe. Bold flavors and very tender. A little too saucy for my own personal preference (I mainly prefer dry wings). 4/5 on this dish.
9. Goat Curry: Another solid option with bold flavors and tender meat. Dip some naan bread with the curry, and you have a winner. The dish was well prepared, as the goat meat wasn’t gamey, so you have nothing to worry about. 4/5 on this dish
Overall, an awesome dining experience from start to finish.
Today I tried their Dahi Bhalla for the first time, and it was excellent. The balance of chutney and dahi was just right, and the portion size was generous.
The Karahi Paneer and garlic naan were just as good as always.
Though the plaza may be deceiving, this restaurant is well decorated and quite nice. (A little on the warmer side)
We found the butter chicken a little dry but with all the sauce, hardly noticeable.
Naan was perfect, and we even ordered more.
Everything was decently priced.
The Prawn Biryani genuinely surprised me. The portion is generous and the prawns are big, already peeled, and full of flavour. The rice has its own seasoning, so every bite tastes layered and balanced. It is one of those dishes you keep thinking about after.
The Butter Chicken is creamy, warm, and familiar in the best way. I have had people tell me they prefer this over some of the well known Richmond spots. I get why. It is the kind of dish you finish easily.
Every protein came out juicy and tender. I enjoy lamb chops but the King Grill is the best way to try everything at once. It feels complete and worth ordering.
And please get the pink chai. It is cozy and so good.
Happy hour is another bonus since they offer items that are not on the main menu like the jalapeno paddum.

I’ll be honest, this wasn’t my pick. My wife suggested it, and I walked in with zero expectations. From the outside, I wondered why we’d come. But that impression changed instantly as soon as we stepped through the door. The real surprise came with the food. Our daughter, a devoted butter chicken critic, used her go-to order as a benchmark. My wife and I explored a variety of dishes. From the very first bite, it was clear we had stumbled upon something special. Each plate that followed raised the bar even higher. The flavours were bold, balanced, and beautifully presented, every dish felt like it had been crafted with true expertise and pride. We visited on a quiet Wednesday night, and though the restaurant was nearly empty, the quality suggested a kitchen led by someone with serious culinary pedigree in Indian food. This place is a hidden gem serving some of the finest Indian cuisine we’ve tasted in a long time. . ., and it’s cheap!
