This was a hidden gem we ended up unplanned and it was so good we literally went back in a week. What amazing food, the taste and the freshness brought us back. The staff is so chill and the atmosphere was homely and got a chance to connect with some guests. Best part is this place isn’t expensive at all. Definitely going back again and highly recommend.

Cagney’s Kitchen in Walkertown is a great spot for a hearty meal at a good price. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and definitely family friendly, perfect for breakfast or lunch with loved ones.
The service was kind and fast, and everything we ordered was delicious. My only small complaint is that I asked for fried eggs but received scrambled instead. Mistakes happen, and honestly, the food was still so tasty that it didn’t ruin the experience at all.
Overall, it was a great visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Just a cozy, local diner that knows how to make you feel at home!

My wife enjoyed a salad with chicken. She really enjoyed the freshness of the salad and the seasoning on the chicken (grilled). I had a “Carolina burger”, which was a generous, cooked to order ground chuck patty topped with chili and Cole slaw. I enjoyed it as well. Sweet tea was good and our dessert of banana pudding was tasty as well. If we’re ever back in Walkertown NC, we’ll stop in again.

We had an awesome first experience here! They were very busy but our waitress was still attentive to our table. Our breakfast plates were generous portions and most importantly, delicious!
The interior was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere.

I live right around the corner from this place and I love going! The breakfast is always amazing along with lunch and dinner. I normally my kiddos with me and the staff always shows them extra love and kindness, which I appreciate!! Highly recommend the country style steak or the spaghetti!

Our server was fast and friendly—I was genuinely impressed. Unfortunately, the food was poor quality and depressing. Instant rice and beef “cubes” do not make beef tips. Spinach dip shouldn’t be bitter.
I understand trying to keep prices down, but when the quality is this low, it’s just not worth it. I hope in the future they’re able to provide a better product. They already have a great staff.

Do not order food to go. Have literally never received a correct take out order. Even after employee at window reads order back correctly. Dining room service is good. But 3 times in a row my take out orders have been prepared incorrectly.

The food here is traditional american and italian. They had hundreds of options from steak to pizza to loaded salads. I ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was very good. If you want something filling go here.

This is my go to place but I have noticed the food quantity has severely decreased. They like everyone went up on prices which I understand but the last two to three times I have went for takeout it’s been bad. If you get takeout they have cut their food portions and you don’t see it till your home and ready to eat. My son and I love the Baked Chicken with rice and we always get Fried Okra and this time I couldn’t let it go unnoticed. Hardly any rice with the Chicken but the Okra was worth a mention. I counted it and it was like 9 lil pieces. Food was good as always but this was ridiculous and reminder 2nd to 3rd time it’s been this way. Check your boxes!
