Neat stop and great vegan spot to try out. We tried out two of their vegan dishes plus a brownie and all of the food was amazing. If only we have more room we would totally order more and miss out on the national park.

Family of 5 ordered off the traditional and vegan menu. All the food was amazing! Highly recommend traditional Italian beef!! The bread is awesome! Ordered a marble cake and a vegan brownie. The brownie was delicious, but the marble cake was hard and stale. I’ve been here several times, and this was the first time I ever had an issue with anything I’ve ever purchased. I will definitely be going back, probably several times! Cute place, and the people that work there are so helpful and super nice!

The cafe serves food to delight both vegans and meat lovers. I enjoyed my Bubba vegan sandwich and side salad.
The only two cautions I’ll mention: the lemonade taste like it’s soda fountain rather than fresh-squeezed, and you have to walk through the snack prep area of Firefly from the cafe to access the (cute & clean!) bathrooms.
After driving past for a decade but never at the right time, I’m glad I finally made the effort to schedule my travel to eat here. Check it out! I’ll try to come back.
P. S. Plenty of parking, even for my furniture-delivery U-Haul.

Cute deli/bakery atmosphere. Fresh food, friendly service. Sandwiches were good. Sourdough bread was an option. Side salad also an option. All dressings homemade, the orange poppyseed was amazing. Bakery options looked delicious but we didn’t have room for dessert!

A handyman told me this place had great brownies and we happened to be in the area that day so we stopped in for lunch. Worth it! Hearty sized sandwiches and the grilled cheese had an amazing crunch! Everything tasted great!
I didn’t even realize it was connected to an indoor playground until after we were done, it still had a quiet cozy vibe. We were the only ones eating at a time when kids are generally in school, though, so your experience may vary from ours.

Best vegan menu in the area!! Everything is so good but the pub sandwich is what we return for.
Vegan milkshakes, bakery items and full vegan menu as well as a traditional.
Totally worth the drive. Only open wed- sat 10-6pm so def call first or check fb.

10 out of 10!! Best vegan bacon I’ve ever had. Warning that the awesome sauce has a little kick to it but everything was just beyond amazing. So happy we found this place on our drive to Chicago.

This place has good food that was very fresh. However, the desserts were not as satisfying. The cupcakes were beautiful, but the frosting was hard and not very tasty. The actual chocolate cupcake under that mountain of frosting was very moist and tasted wonderful. The decor was simple with a sophisticated chic flare. The space was small and cramped with the way the tables were placed. The wait staff were accommodating and helpful. They did look irritated that we came in with several children in tow; which was confusing since they are located practically next door to a children’s play facility. They do have full vegan menus, and some cool sounding meal choices for vegans.

Very cute atmosphere, friendly staff and vegan as well as omnivore options. Generous portions and fair prices. Pastries are incredible and they package them very well – they look fancy. Will definitely go again when I’m back in the area.
