Reviews
The sushi is what you’d expect.. maybe? It’s not well made but mostly edible. They do give you very small portions at a time to avoid food waste, which is reasonable. But with how slow the service is, you WILL be here for at least 2 hours to get the food you want.
The walls and table utensils were filthy. Made me want to leave as soon as I sat down. The seat, wall beside me, and pretty much everything around us was smeared in dirt, sauce, and DUST
Amazingly I have been seated in the exact same booth every single time, and not because I have asked either; and all but one time we have had the same exact waitress (Kathleen)
Service has always been excellent, food has always came out in a reasonable time.
Food is prepared and cooked well and being that it is all you can eat I would say the price is fair….there really should be no complaints about the cost.
My only complaint is that it is clear to me that the floor is not mopped or cleaned every single night and during my half dozen visits the restaurant has been fairly clean, however the most recent visit it was lacking a bit…..
We have partyvof 21 ppl. They are able to accommadate all of us. The food is generally above average at AYCE at this price
It’s definitely loud inside, but the sushi is served on fresh rice, which makes a big difference. The tempura wasn’t the best and could use some improvement, but overall, it was a pleasant surprise to sit down to an all-you-can-eat sushi meal. A solid experience in Amish country.
The Hawaii roll was one of my favorites – it has mango and shrimp and sauce on it.
Walked in and got a table for our party of 11
Plenty of empty tables too, but most of the food was just ok, but good for what it’s worth
Seems like they were short on staff because sometimes putting in our orders with the waiter slow
You tell what roll/app/etc you want to the waiter-and you can order as many times as you want
Things I thought were good
Seaweed salad (can’t really mess this up though)
Snow white roll
Dragon roll
Salmon bowl (no rice, just salmon wrapped around spicy imitation crab thing-pretty good)
Yellowtail thing (also no rice)
Black pepper tuna (no rice but I would rather eat the yellowtail fish)
Chocolate mousse dessert was nicely ok
Things I would not order again
Crazy monkey roll
—- (it’s just fried banana in a sushi roll, dry, you can taste the banana but it just doesn’t feel worth the stomach space, only ordered it cuz I thought I was so interesting)
Cucumber salad,
—- (two pieces of some pale looking cucumber with immjtation crab-the cucumbers in the avocado salad were better than this)
Also icecream is just like cafeteria cups
Overall it’s ok, no rush to come back unless I’m desperately wanting sushi
