Quick and tasty takeout meal during a pit stop in Lufkin TX. So rare to find a place where I can order vegan hotdogs for my vegan hubby!! The online ordering via GrubHub was seamless but moreover the food was freshly made, delicious and satisfying. Would definitely stop again while on the road.

I ordered 2 #1’s and was charged the normal $8.58 for the combo and then an extra $6.18 for fries and drink. When I brought to the person at the windows attention that fries and drink came with the combos they said “sorry… I’m new here” and offered to resolution to our $12.36 overcharge on our meal. We spent $41.52 for two people to eat… this is crazy

The food was great, the service was fantastic, and the chili was absolutely on point.
This was one of those fast-food visits where everything just worked. The food came out fresh, hot, and tasted exactly how you want comfort food to taste satisfying and flavorful. The chili was rich and hearty, exactly what I was hoping for.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was polite, quick, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to get that level of attentiveness at a quick-serve spot, but they nailed it.
If I had to nitpick, I’d say the serving sizes felt a little small for the price. Not enough to ruin anything, but just noticeable enough to mention. That said, the overall quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it.
I’d absolutely come back and next time, I’ll probably just order an extra dog.

I gave Weinerschnitzel 5 stars because I am always happy when I leave there. Not only is the food awesome the employees are polite and service is always on point. Pictured here is the Chicago Dog with a polish wiener. If you haven’t tried the I suggest you do, they’re so good.

Every time I go to Lufkin, TX I get my fix of my favorite chili dogs! My husband is a truck driver and he knows where every location is over the lower 48 states haha! It’s a great place with great food. Don’t ever go away!
