What a gem! Stopped by on a day trip blindly and was pleasantly surprised. The croissant club was amazing..warm, fresh ingredients that you could truly taste the difference in. We had a couple macaroons for dessert that were also delicious. Coffees sounded so tempting! Very cute place. We will be back when we are in town again.

I recently went into your establishment. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. I ordered a grilled cheese which was delicious; but I had broccoli and cheddar soup and it was incredibly salty. I could not finish it – and was definitely disappointed since it’s my favorite kind of soup. Maybe tell the chef to not be so heavy handed with the salt.

The Hive Market is such a cute, charming place. The vanilla ice latte was absolutely fabulous even though it’s quite a drive out of town from Lafayette , it is worth it! Great drinks, great pastries, great atmosphere ! 10/10 I will definitely be back again 🙂

One of my absolute favorite places. I frequently drive a good ways just to visit Hive. The owner and employees are top notch and so friendly. The food is organic, eggs are fresh (you can literally taste the difference) and so delicious! Just all together an awesome experience every single time. I always try one of their speciality coffees, and I’ve never had one that I did not love.
They also have items you can purchase; from handmade jewelry, to organic flour and raw milk. Super comfy spots to study or just hang. 10/10, will always recommend!

I had high expectations and was excited to get out especially since I’m a new resident in the area. I walked in and 3 ladies stopped talking and just looked at me, not a word, just silence. It was awkward but it was fine. I just assumed they were customers chatting it up. Well much to my surprise, at least one was an employee because after I arrived to the counter waiting patiently, a gentlemen finally told me someone would be with me shortly and had to signal for the person I’d just passed to come and take my order. I honestly wanted to turn around and walk away because that spoke volumes to customer service. VOLUMES. Instead, I remained because I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. I placed my order and took a seat. Although I chose to dine in and take a number to my table, when my order was made, the same lady called the name of my order to come back up to the counter to retrieve. So what was the number for? Usually it’s to identify your patrons to deliver their order but maybe it’s different there. As I waited, I watched others arrive and were pleasantly and exuberantly greeted by staff as they entered the door. It can’t help but make me wonder. This was just not a pleasant experience. Needless to say, although I’m not from here and certainly can’t speak for the culture of this community, I can only hope that this was just an unintentional inconvenience this day and not the normal atmosphere.

I came into the Hive Market with the intention of just getting something like a salad or something smaller for lunch; however, I saw there was a special for a Cuban sandwich and let me tell you – I am so grateful I made the decision to order the Cuban instead. That was absolutely one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had. I had planned to eat half and take the other half home, but I couldn’t put it down. It was delicious! Well done Hive Market! I hope that sandwich stays on the menu, because I will definitely be back for another! 10/10 recommend to anyone unsure of what to order!
