The food was excellent!
My wife said the street corn was the best she has ever had, she even squirted me in the eye when she hit into it because it was so fresh! She also had the tamales and stated they were also the best.
I had the quesobirrias and the meat was perfect, the consume the as over the top.
Service was quick and the waitresses were all so nice checking on us.
We are from out of state but will be back this summer and this will be a definite return for dinner.
Oh and the Texas margarita hit the spot.

First time dining at Lokos Tacos. The staff is very nice. The menu has a lot items to choose from. I ordered the sopa de mariscos and I wasn’t blown away.
Here’s some constructive feedback.
1. If you can, please take the tails and shells off the shrimp before you add them to the soup. Nobody wants to have to shell a shrimp with their fingers nor get it on your clothes.
2. When serving muscles, please make sure that they open properly. If they don’t open, they are dead and should not be served to a customer.
Even muscles with crushed shells shouldn’t be served.
3. When you have a seafood soup, please don’t use “fake crab”. That is barely seafood and should not be used. Quality over quantity. Calamari, scallops, cod,etc,,not imitation crab.
The restaurant was very clean. They have a very nice little full service bar with beer, wine and hard alcohol.

Lokos is my spot! I come here on a weekly basis because it is so good.
First off, they have the best salsa in town! It is always fresh and contains fresh ingredients. The chips are also delicious. I have eaten my way through most of the menu and haven’t found anything that isn’t delicious. Some of my favorites include the Chori dip, Guaca Fresco, Texas Rice, Fajitas, La Cubana Torta, Flautas de Pollo, Tostadas de Tinga, and Elote Mexicano. Rest assured, anything you get will be delicous!
As for the staff, they are friendly and welcoming. They are also attentive and ensure that you get prompt service. The food always comes out quickly and is always fresh. They are also very good about fulfilling special requests for menu items, such as “no onion” or “extra cheese”.
The restaurant itself has a great ambiance and is always clean. It definitely has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Lokos Tacos to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in Augusta.

Went here for the first time and I really enjoyed it!
We were seated, the chips and salsa came out with sopa. We ordered large cheese dip, as well. Everything was great!
I ordered the quesabirria and elote. Both were delicious and I highly recommend. The rice that came with the quesabirria, however, was a bit bland. The Burrito Loko was also ordered and was enjoyed.
Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and would love to revisit to try more things

Great people awesome atmosphere delicious food! It seemed it took a while to get greeted and to get the chips and salsa. There was a miscommunication between the host stand and the bar. I got my queso and guacamole before I was served chips and salsa. The only Mishap I had was late greeting because after Reyna was told u was there she took care of me and the food was delicious! The service was good and the people that come here seem to love their food! lol I made friends I enjoyed their guacamole queso and Texas rice! Soooo cheesy and tasty!

We came in for a late lunch. The chips were above average & the salsa was great. However, that is where the good food ended. My wife got her quesadilla several minutes before I got my burrito. My burrito was sufficient in size, but the pastor meat was lacking & not very good. It was more beans & rice. The chicken was over cooked & bland. Wait staff was pleasant.

I decided to stop in here instead one of my usual spots and I am so glad I did! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The margaritas are huge and strong! The portion sizes were perfect and very flavorful. A side of soup came out with the chips and salsa and I’m usually hesitant to try things I’ve never seen before, but I’m so glad I did because it was so good!

This is mine and my husband’s favorite restaurant in the area. We have not tired the Boy Scout Road location as we are loyal to the Washington Road location. The service is always great and the chips and salsa come out almost immediately followed quickly by a delicious soup that comes out before your meal as well. The street tacos are our favorite thing on the menu. I don’t think there’s every been a trip here where we haven’t gotten either the chorizo or pollo street taco! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican in the Augusta area and CSRA! We come here multiple times a month!

They have the most extensive gourmet Mexican recipes menu plus a full top shelf liquor bar. This place is a little smaller then what I imagined it to be but packs a BIG punch food wise. I had the Texas margarita and it tasted more sour than sweet had me feeling right by the end of it. I ordered street carnitas tacos with a side of rice and one pork tamale. Best street tacos I’ve had since being in Augusta and I’ve lived here for a small minute. Hey were so flavorful, I originally ordered three and ordered an extra one before I left. Reminded me of a taco truck back home in California. Rice is perfectly fluffy with amazing flavor. Tamale was a little on the drier side with good flavor. Will be looking forward to coming here again on a busier day to see how the food compares. Light crowd on a Saturday at 2pm.
