Amber Kay’s became our go-to spot during our stay in Cedar City—we ended up eating there almost every day! The food was consistently delicious, and the warm, friendly atmosphere kept us coming back. Whether we stopped in for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick coffee and snack, everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful.
The staff made us feel right at home, always welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The menu had a great variety of comforting favorites with a homemade touch, and each dish felt thoughtfully crafted with quality ingredients.
If you’re in Cedar City and looking for a consistently great place to eat, Amber Kay’s is a must. It’s clear this café is loved by locals—and now we see why! Highly recommended.

The food was amazing! My husband, my daughter and our dad enjoyed our meals. I had the hamburger steak combo. My husband had cornbeef hash. Our dad had the Philly. Our daughter had the pancake kids combo she enjoyed it. I only got a photo of my hamburger steak and our dad’s Philly.
Also the plus was our waitress was very generous and kind. She was patient while taking our order and checked in on us. She was wearing a Halloween sweater! I didn’t get her name but she was very nice!! She also brought our order out so quickly. Thanks to the cooks!

I am impressed with Amber Kay’s. The atmosphere honors the mountains it sits in in Cedar city Utah and even the open sign is Americana. The tables have the logo embedded in them and they and the chairs are solid which is very refreshing in a diner!I had the Buckley Benedict without hashbrowns and with avocado slices. They don’t do lattes but as my server said the coffee is very good and there’s plenty of half-and-half! I will recommend this place and I will stop here again sometime when passing through. God bless America and God bless Amber Kay’s Café and the people who work and visit here!

The food was great, we loved it. Very friendly servers. If you have time when they are busy just be prepared to wait a while to get your order taken. It’s a popular local hangout and I can see why. Super good food.

Today we went to Ambers during peak times. We were fifth on the list.
Buuut, It did not take long before we were seated and greeted.
Anything we have ever ordered was delicious.
We are always treated with love and respect.
The staff here really works hard and try’s their best to make accommodations. Ambers is by far our favorite place to eat in town.

Excellent food and was worth the wait, but they really needed more staff for how busy this was on a Sunday (we waited over an hour from the time we were sat until getting food). I also liked how supportive of Veterans this cafe is.

Stopped by Amber Kaye’s on the drive up to Salt Lake. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It gives a traditional cozy diner environment. Food was delicious. I got the chicken and waffles (highly recommend!) and cold brew.

Not really sure what the hype is about. Food was mediocre tasting. Service was pretty standard. Portions for price were smaller compared to other local diners. The atmosphere was a little awkward. Though 3/4 of the tables were full, it was strangely quiet. The kind of quiet that draws attention to somebody accidentally coughing. All in all, not terrible, not the best. I wouldn’t recommend, unless you’re really itching for a different setting than Cedar City’s other, limited dining options.

We’re visiting from Texas, and Amber Kay’s cafe was the first stop we made for food! The environment is very homey, the staff were so nice, and the food was amazing! Special Thanks to Ms. Amber for showing us some extra love for my birthday!! She has such a genuine beautiful spirit! This place is a must if you’re in Cedar City!

On 2/2 and 2/3 I had breakfast here with a couple of my family members, as we were in town for a few days. The first thing that grabbed my attention was how engaging and hospitable the waitresses were upon my family and I walking into the restaurant.
My first meal was the breakfast sandwich, with grilled chicken, which got more tasty with each bite. The next day I had the breakfast burrito with grilled chicken, which was well-portioned. I thought the breakfast burrito could have used a little spice/seasoning. Yet, I do realize this can be subjective. Overall, I was happy with the burrito purchase. And their coffee went down easy.
I don’t remember our waitresses’ names. Yet, they were continually attentive, patient and smiling.
