Well DAMNNNN! This place is delicious! We came for Valentine’Day a few weeks ago and came back with our kids. Don’t sleep on the biscuits. We ordered the biscuits, they come in 3 different flavors topped with fruit compote and jome made whipped cream. The Nashville hot chicken tenders and waffle combo are the best in all of DFW. I am not exaggerating. They have a dj that plays all your favorite jams from back from your clubbing days that make you enjoy your food even more. 10 outta 10. Also, Millie our waitress was wonderful!

Dined in for my first time for breakfast. There was lots of available seating. I chose patio seating. VK provided great service. They had good music playing. The food was prepared rather quickly abs was fresh. The lemon pepper sauce was very salty. Otherwise, everything was yummy.

I went to this restaurant on Sunday with a big group for a birthday celebration, and everything was great! The waitresses were super nice and very attentive. Our food came out quickly, and everything tasted good. But the music—oh my goodness—was the bomb! The DJ had the perfect mix of younger rap and old-school vibes, and that was honestly my favorite part of the whole experience.
If I had to mention one thing, it would be for the lady bringing the food out to make sure she knows where we’re seated before explaining the dishes, and maybe not talk over the plates while doing so. Other than that, everything was great.
Definitely five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I would absolutely go back again!

1st off TIPS ARE FORCED on the ticket which is crazy. With this place being black owned …it figures. I’m sure the owners did this because our people are often down right ridiculous when it comes to tipping so I get it but it’s aggravating when people like myself tip and tip WELL WHEN the service warrants it otherwise if the service isn’t that good … they’re forcing me into 18%… that’s not cool. Thankfully this day there was no issue…t’was SUPERB SERVICE. Thank you RINA! Ok the food…. stuffed French toast was definitely the highlight for me. Tasted better than I expected. Yummmm. For the record it comes as a dollup of nice sweet, soft creamy filing simply placed in between 2 pieces of bread so i wouldn’t really call it stuffed. In my opinion stuffed would be like one thick peice of bread with the filling squeezed inside of it …like stuffed long john donuts are… but anyway I digress lol Bro got chicken strips and waffles…it was solid, well seasoned chicken. We liked their waffle better than Lolos in grapevine. The **mac and cheese** didn’t live up to the price or it’s name—it was okay, but definitely not worth the cost…as you see this place is quite pricey. I don’t know how they expect frequent return visits at these prices. They either need a reward program or maybe monthly specials or maybe an ever changing menu with monthly new items to keep people coming cause fifty for each person… sheesh!
I also ordered the fried shrimp to go on the mac n cheese, man o man, well-seasoned and hand-battered, giving them a nice crunch and great flavor. Yum and I don’t even like shrimp like that! On the downside, I was disappointed that they **do NOT offer guest Wi-Fi**, my signal was terrible in there. This makes it tough if you’re there wanting to upload on social media or just use your phone for whatever might require internet. I had to walk outside for a few minutes at one point. I wish them well, in my opinion this is a tough spot to be in location wise. Like who would know yall are back here???? Lol Anyway I’m glad my brother saw them on FB. Overall solid first visit. I definitely recommend but be prepared for that $$$ bill!

Instead of the bone in chicken go with the tenders. Although the chicken is beautifully fried & crispy, there’s was quite a bit of red around the bones. Waffles are homemade and i decided to go with strawberries. Shrimp & Grits are top 2 in DFW. The fried biscuits are a nice and sweet snack to share. Keep in mind that of you choose all 3 flavors there is a extra $2 charge. You cannot escape the 18% gratuity. 20% if your group is large. So many places in DFW have live DJs where the music is so loud you have to yell to have conversation. They had a dj and thank God the music wasn’t deafening!

Food was good and that’s the only reason I’m giving grace. We came in at 1030 am; they say us near the sitting area of the DJ and door to the back kitchen. Fruit flies were all over the facility before food came out and drinks. My wife ordered a Neo’s strawberry lemonade and they were out of Hennessy, she then asked for a ginger ale and they were out of that. She settled for a sprite. We ordered our food at the same time. I specifically asked for the shrimp and grits (6 jumbo shrimp) and add one piece of catfish. My wife ordered the stuffed French toast that came with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The waitress had to be reminded of what was included with this item. My shrimp and grits came out with 3 pieces of fish when I specifically asked for one. It was good, but I asked for one which you now are trying to dictate what I spend or cause conflict. My wife food came out 15 minutes after my entree came out and they were apologetic about the situation then offered a discount. The biggest issue is that you can’t demand gratuity on all tabs and give this type of service. Your quality of service don’t match your fees demanded towards gratuity. I should have an opportunity to decide on how to reward your services based off performance and your performance was below average as you watched things on your phone directly across from us without ensuring we had condiments and saying thanks for coming to see us. Basic customer service qualities.

This is the second time I’ve ate here and had the same server. Her name is Dimera H, she’s inattentive and rude. After waiting for over 20 minutes to order a s watching her having conversations with her co workers, we had to search out the hostess to go get her so we could finally order. She walked up to the table upset and made a nasty comment, not offering no apology. Each time we’ve ate here she literally only comes to the table to take your order and bring it to you. No checking in on you, we came to celebrate my birthday and was unable to drink. She didn’t come back to the table to take drink orders we got fed up waiting and left to go the nearest bar. We watched her walking around talking and laughing with other people while we were sitting waiting to order several times. The food is amazing but the service is horrible !!! Order to go is my opinion moving forward if I go back. Charging a gratuity and then having terrible service is taking advantage of your customers .

Not your typical chicken and waffle place. This place had a great vibe. Bunch/lunch fun music etc. Food and service were fast, friendly and helpful. It is not a quiet place…but this made the vibe. We ordered the fried biscuits! Yum, I had the chicken and waffles. The flavor was amazing. The waffle was excellent too. We were will be back. The adults had adult beverages driving the ticket up a bit but all worth it. Check out those red velvet booths!
