I really liked the spinach and ground beef.
Food is a big 10/10!!!
Ordered a bunch of stuff, lol.
Garlic Naan: 10/10
Chicken Biryani Rice: 9/10
Chicken Tikka Masala: 9.5/10
Potato Samosa: 8.5/10
Chicken Keema: 7/10
Mango Lassi drink: 8/10
We could have ordered more, but they took away the menu, lol.
But I totally recommend trying this place out!
The service is the quickest I’ve seen in Indian restaurants, within 10 mins food was on the table, delicious selections, we ordered several plates to see what’s this place all about and it didn’t disappoint.
I do recommend this place, plates are relatively inexpensive, $10 to $12 a plate, try the chicken 65, the portions really worth it.
Head over there for yourself!
There is no parking in from of Famous Tandori. However, there is ample parking in the rear.
Outside in the back adjacent to the rear door is a nice little outside dinning area. As you enter inside, the dinning room is separated by a wall with two 5’x 4′ openings with potted plants.
The floor and kitchen are clean. When we entered we were warmly greeted and seated and given menues.
We picked Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, Beef Samosa and Lamb Pulau. Also ordered was a mango drink.
The Chicken Tikka Masala is served in a medium spicy red sauce. The chicken was cut into chunks and was tender. The sauce was so good I would have drank it straight. The spice puts a nice bead of sweat on the forehead.
The Palak Paneer is a creamy spinach in creamy cheese with small chunks of cheese. This treat was well worth the order.
The Lamb Pulau was served with a large amount of well seasoned. The meat on the lamb shank pulled right off the boned. The meat was fantastic!!!!!!
Also ordered were beef somosa’s. These are made to order and are packed full of well seasoned beef. This is served with a nice amount of meat.
This is truly a hidden gem of rich tasting truly homemade Indian/ Pakistani food. A MUST VISIT!
