We enjoyed a formidable Mexican food.tonight. Roberto and Andres were beyond our expectations.. Their suggestions in the menu were fantastic! Everything was so delicious!. Though I have a different opinion about Barceló Maya Beach resort overall, I must give a credit the Mexico Lindo restaurant and its servers, Rigoberto Chan & Abel Vazque. I mean, it’s a Mexican restaurant in Mexico, but the best restaurant I visited on the property of the resort. The food was delicious, especially ceviche (I’m a fan of ceviche), so as the lime soup and beef fajitas. And the aforementioned personnel did great – my Prosecco glass was refilled in a timely manner and friendliness was always there. Definitely recommend!

What a fun time at Mexico Lindo at Barcelo Maya Grand Resort! We were served by Salvudor and Efren who did an excellent job! They were polite and efficient in picking up our dishes and water/drink refills. Their food suggestions were wonderful as well. I had the Corn Soup, Pacific Shrimp, and Tres Leches. Would come here again!

I’m not a big fan of Mexican cuisine, but I decided to try something different, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were well-prepared, and the portions were generous. The flavors were vibrant but not overly spicy, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was quick and friendly. I might not become a regular due to personal preferences, but it’s a great choice for a change.

We had supper at Mexico Lindo this evening. The decor and ambience were indicative of a fine dining restaurant. We were waited upon by Salvador Poot and Osvaldo Lopez who were very attentive to our needs. We went to this restaurant specifically to have an authentic Mexican meal which I believe we had.

Dinner at Lindo was very good. My only advice ….. Come hungry. Oh my goodness. So. Much. Delicious. Food.
We had wonderfully attentive servers: Abraham and Jose. They were very good, answered all of our questions, and were very accommodating. A real pleasure!
The appetizers were a meal in and of themselves. I had the chef taco appetizer (forgot to take a photo). 3 chicken tacos. I had to share one with my husband. I should have given one to one of my kids as well. So good, but so filling.
I’ve attached photos of some of the food. Both our teen sons had fajitas – one chicken and one beef. I didn’t take photos of those, but they loved them! They also really enjoyed their marinated pork tacos.
After having dinner at 4 other Al a cartes so far, they both said this was their favourite.

We had dinner here twice over the ciurse of our stay. Both times were very good and flavorful; I’d recommend the Mexican creme brulee. Food came quick. Presentation is a 10/10. Isaac and Abel were our servers; they were friendly and diligent in refilling our waters.
