The gyro stacked btw- is HUGE.
This time we wanted to give the baklava and falafel a try. The falafel was pretty okay but a little spicier and darker than expected. The baklava was unexpectedly mostly roughly chopped almonds and walnuts which made the mouthfeel unpleasant. The taste was unevenly distributed because of the rough chop and I could only really handle the puff pastry.
This place is likely a ghost kitchen, so we probably aren’t going to order from here anymore.
The takeout experience had some of the same qualities- the drivers hanging out at the pickup location all helped me to figure out the lockers, and when I had some challenges with our order, the restaurant responded promptly and courteously.
May have been an error on our part that we didn’t realize the grilled salmon would be more on the blackened side, being used to more moist baked salmon. I mentioned this to the waitress who said she’ll see what she could do to help since we had started eating it. Then to our pleasant surprise she came back and said they are preparing the salmon the way we like it. Then George the owner came to ask about the salmon and we explained. He was very understanding and accommodating. The spanakopita, vegetables, rice pilaf were just delicious and the salmon that came after was perfection!
The broccoli was exceptionally good! I don’t know what about it, but both my nephew and i found it ever so flavorful!
Enjoyed ambiance and cleanliness of the place. It’s nice when the music is just right so you can enjoy the listening and have a conversation.
The service is lovely, place is neat and food is really good! Price wise is a tad expensive for my taste but their servings are pretty big so come and share.
Between the four of us we shared:
– traditional moussaka
– veg moussaka
– ikaros gyro with fries
– spanakopita mezes (spinach pie)
We were more than full when we polished our plates. Spanakopita was really tasty and filling and gyro was ah-ma-zing!!! Both moussakas were good but too heavy for my taste.
We chatted a bit at the end with the owner and she was lovely to talk to. Left with a great experience and a warm feeling in my heart, maybe because it reminded me a bit of my homeland. Can’t wait to be back for more 🙂
Food is very good, I had the fish special, fried calamari and my friends had gyros. All of the plates were very tasty and left us feeling pretty full. Also tried the baklava and galaktoboureko, dessert was good but not as extraordinary as the entrees, still worth a try if you have a sweet tooth.
Staff was sooo nice and welcoming! This is definitely a place to visit ✨❤️
