On a Saturday noon we had been advised to taste the “market menu”. So we tasted the best ever beef carpaccio and un unforgettable lobster tortellini. The dessert was elegant and all the mignardises offered very interesting and tempting. For this culinary experience a bottle of water, 1/2 bottle of local fuisse, a glass of local dessert wine and 2 coffees we paid 91€. Just sublime! A very serious reason to come back to Macon. Bravo!
My girlfriend is vegetarian and does not like strong cheese. We confirmed this in advance and told it was not a problem.
The 60 Euro vegetarian starter was a very basic garden salad (really just a bit of lettuce and tomorrow). The main course was pasta pesto; seriously, the type that you make from a packet as a student (see photo).
Does a restaurant that can not cater for vegetarians really deserve a Michelin star??
