Opened in July of 2024, our Texas outpost sits on Austin’s iconic Sixth Street in the Downtown Historic District. Predominantly pedestrianized, the area is known for its bars, clubs, live music, and comedy venues housed in 19th-century Victorian buildings, earning the street a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. Guinness, Irish Coffee, and Irish whiskeys from the country’s most talented producers are flowing in the Taproom. Modern Irish art adorns the walls, and celebrated Irish makers design our uniforms, menus, and nearly everything in between. And what is Austin without the right tunes? Our in-house Music Director has a few tricks up his sleeve.

This place has easily become one of our local favorites – especially during the holiday season for “Jingle Jangle.”
Definitely worth a hop over to this fantastic establishment!
Scotch eggs is deliciously crunchy with perfect soft yolk. The deviled eggs is out of this world. The sliders hit the spot. I had Irish espresso martini. That was so smooth and delicious. I had a great service. Fast! The atmosphere is sexy & stylish… Great spot. Check it out!
She also failed to identify. Was not reasonable. I have been around the block enough to know a power trip when I see one.
Such a shame. Otherwise excellent bar.
The food was delicious! I definitely recommend trying the fries and tiramisu not only were they tasty but the portions were great as well! The fries were freshly made and came with three different sauces which were all delicious! The tiramisu was also perfectly balanced and not too sweet! The drinks I tried were the Irish rose and iced Irish coffee which were really delicious. The drinks were a bit strong but we weren’t complaining
It was also surprisingly affordable when split with a group! We each had 1-2 drinks and shared the food which ended up being about $50 per person for a group of three!
Finally, we LOVED our waiter! I forgot his name but he had a spider lily tattoo and he was one of the nicest waiters I’ve ever had! Super sweet, and if his manager is reading this review, please give him a raise he deserves it!
Thank you to the Dead Rabbit team for the exceptional service and kindness in serving my sister in law’s and I. We got late to arrive give the heavy traffic and rain. I sent a note letting them know about my delay and they were constantly updating me with the next availability. We had only 45 minutes to eat before we head out but they kept that in mind. Food was excellent again. I had the Shepherd’s Pie and loves my Nice List’.
The place was also beautifully decorated for the festive season.
Loved The Dead Rabbit. I brought some foreign guests and wanted them to experience 6th Street, and I thought this place was the best decision.
The food was amazing. The fish and chips were amazing, and my lamb chops were the best. The mint sauce was so delicious.
My friends ordered the mussels and salmon, which was also amazing according to them. I love my Irish coffee.
I’m definitely coming back again.
