I have been here plenty of times and it doesn’t matter if the dinning room is full or empty…. The customer service is A1. I haven’t been here in about 3 months from reg dinning and the waitress remembers that I like my ice separate from any beverage…. Like how?? That’s a true skill & confidence that your waitress is paying attention even when you don’t think so. I love Hammers! Food is always good, I am a foodie & my cravings are always satisfied, my stomach will be good and full from the food & the vibes are just home filled.Today I learned that the then was waitress is now the NEW OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT !!! God makes no mistakes 10000/10 go check them out now! His wife was the bartender today & 2 drinks was all I could handle lol. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS IM GREAT HANDS!

Went to Hammer’s for my great grandfathers celebration of life on Saturday, the food was great and the server (I think her name was Jane) was very kind and did a great job.
My grandfather had become a regular there and I know they were kind to him in his final weeks of life, serving him tasty breakfasts with a smile. So for the good food and sentimental value, I will definitely be going back soon. I’ll have to get lunch next time!

One of the Peoria area’s true hidden gems. Outstanding service and delicious food. The left part of the establishment is a restaurant with tables and in a section to the right is a long bar also with table seating and slots. The mushroom appetizers are hand crafted masterpieces. These are homemade and coated with a seasoned batter. They are superb. After you taste these, all other mushrooms (particularly the frozen, poured from a bag variety) will pale in comparison. They are in my opinion the best available. The hammer burger is a full half-pound of succulent beef with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and barbeque sauce. It is excellent. My waitress was friendly, prompt, attentive, and had a sense of humor. For a combination if great food and service, Hammer’s fits the bill. I’ll be back and I recommend trying it.

First time there, beer is cold and I’m a picky drinker! Shane is a very upbeat and personable bar tender… We are going back on Sunday to try the wings, pizza, and bucket of beers!!!
Update… we went back! And DAMN!!! Shane wasn’t lyin’! The blackened wings are amazing and the bucket of beers sweet!
We got a pizza to go and I’m pretty sure it isn’t making it home

It’s home- town friendly, the food is great and WAY more affordable than places in Peoria. We had this delicious huge breakfast for a few pennies over $13, including tax.
