I’ve never had a bad meal from Mr Spuds!! Great selection of fresh meats and vegetables for their lunch menu. They have the absolute best chicken & dumplings! Great burgers, Prime Rib Po Boy, homemade biscuits, and homemade desserts! It’s all very good!!

The wait staff was polite and attentive. The food was delicious! The chicken was tender and not dry. The pork chops were fantastic as well. I would not recommend the hush puppies but the green beans, side salad and Mac and cheese were excellent. The service was very fast especially given it was a Friday night and every table was taken. The desserts were amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

Today was my first time and I will be back! I was greeted very warmly by the two hostesses who happened to be a mother and daughter duo! They were both very nice and promptly got us seated. Our servers name was Annie and she was a delight! She took wonderful care of us. She was very bubbly and friendly, just the kind of person you’d want waiting on you. You can tell the people who work here care. The daughter hostess was going around talking to tables checking on them and joking with regulars. The male server was laughing with his tables getting everyone to smile. That just shows you these people create good relationships with their customers. The food was great I got the fried chicken lunch special and you got a lot of food for a little price. Whoever made the cobbler did a fantastic job! Overall this was a wonderful experience and I look forward to becoming one of the “regulars”

Quaint & relaxing atmosphere. Love this place! Great food! Great Service! The burgers, chicken tenders, (love the honey mustard!) salad choices are great! The potato soup is the best I’ve had anywhere! AND they do have some good desserts to choose from – I suggest getting it to for later because you’ll be completely satisfied from the meal. There can be a wait due to it’s popularity but well worth it! They close between lunch & dinner so make sure you check the hours. Ask for Jess or Gabbi – both are outstanding servers & make you feel like family. Friendly & always smiling! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This place is always busy! So for the review seated and ordered quickly for the volume of people. My guest could not decide on a special and a recommendation was offered and accepted. Bravo so many servers miss this subtle way to help. It’s all about the surprise honey butter biscuit which was light and fluffy in texture with just the right heft to make a biscuit lover happy! (the king might be dethroned here). I ordered a special country fried steak and three sides. My guests meal came with two sides. We are currently waiting well maybe not food was quick and looks awesome. I adjusted my original post because there are a couple needs improvement I wanted to mention. First I found myself wanting a bun for the country fried steak it was a burger onions and brown gravy and it left no special place in my heart because I’m used to a light breading on country steak (100’s of places I have tried) no breading just threw me off. My Brussel sprouts had no seasoning very bland. Pear cobbler a first and I loved it. Our honey dew was room temp on a hot day. My guest was not hungry and left with the whole meal boxed minus one chicken finger she said something was sticking out of the batter. I want to come back and try reviewing later because a place this busy has to be better then what impression we left with. Veteran And socially friendly environment for all and our server was a very nice gentleman. Staff seemed nice so I’m chocking up the review as a 4 not 5 stars because our meal lacked something and although I’m full I did not love it. This is not how I saw this review going.
