I ordered delivery through DoorDash. The chicken was really bad, but I want to be very clear that this is NOT the driver’s fault.
The driver waited at the restaurant, came straight to me, delivered very quickly, and was extremely kind and professional. He did a great job.
The issue is entirely with the food.
I paid around $100 for chicken and tteokbokki (even considering taxes and fees), which is already shocking, but the quality was unacceptable. The food was overly salty, overly sour, the breading was soggy, and overall it tasted terrible — honestly, it felt almost inedible. I couldn’t even continue eating it.
Even if someone is not familiar with Korean food, this level of quality is not okay. Korean restaurants should not serve food like this, especially to non-Korean customers. This was extremely disappointing for the price paid.

We were recommended this restaurant by a Korean friend and wow! We have tried most of the fried chicken varieties and loved them all. Spicy galbi and honey garlic are 2 of our favorites. We’ve only done takeout and always got prompt and friendly service.

Our food (honey garlic boneless chicken, kimchi fried rice, and chicken fried rice) was ready in 20 minutes, nicely packed (nothing leaked), and delicious. This place is best to go on a weekday when it’s less crowded.

A neighborhood staple. The food is great and service is quick. It’s also open pretty late into the night even during weekdays so a great option for late night eats. Usually little to no wait time and food comes out quick. Korean fried chicken is really the best. Best to come here with a group to make the price worth it otherwise can be pretty expensive.

unless they change something we are not coming back. how are these pieces supposed to be a “whole chicken” order? these aren’t boneless, but they’re even smaller than their boneless chicken. it wasn’t just these 2 pieces that were tiny, at least half of our order was this size. this box of “whole” chicken was $30, which is kind of crazy. what an overpriced scam. next time I will just go to popeyes for half the price and double the portion.

Fantastic experience at bb.q! The staff was incredibly friendly and the place was clean and nice. The mukbang vides playing on the TV above the bar was a new experience for me, but I’m sure someone appreciated it .
The food was fantastic! We got the beef bulgolgi bowl and some fried chicken and they were both fantastic. The sauce on the chicken was unlike anything I’ve had before. Very robust flavors and the portions were generous.
I will be coming back here to try more of the chicken! Highly recommened.

BBQ Chicken is a total Korean Junk food spot. The inside is pretty contemporary with big tvs and projectors showing off lots of Kpop videos and whatever else. Service was…. Interesting. For awhile one young girl was the only person serving the entire place by herself. She also made our drinks. Of which, were pretty good. While she worked her butt off, it took awhile for her to finally get some help. The secret sauce chicken was a little bit of a let down. It was sticky and congealed. However, the original and spicy original were great. Very crisp and juicy. That was a lesson; stick to the wings and drumsticks and get sauces on the side. Its open til 2am, so might be a good spot to end a night drinking on with a pile of salty junk food appetizers and fried chicken.

Vanessa was the sweetest and most helpful server ever!! She so helpful in her recommendations and easy to talk to. I loved her nails and she was so very attentive despite how busy it was!
Happy to say that all of the familiar and favored flavors were still present. Their consistency is on point and always so good with the bevys that go well with their different chicken flavors! So blessed to have them close by!!!

However, I’ve ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken before from the Greenbelt location and really enjoyed it, so I was expecting a similar experience here. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations.
The chicken was soggy instead of crispy, which took away from the flavor and texture that this dish is known for. The steamed white rice was also very bland and tasted like it had been sitting for a while, offering no balance to the meal.
I know this brand can do much better based on my past experience, so this was disappointing. I hope the location can improve consistency and food quality going forward.
