The valet service is not available during lunch hours (although there’s no mention of it on the website or here). Food is amazing as expected of such an upscale place. My server offered ultimately the best experience I could expect. Ambience was pristine, spotless place. The bread was soft, the appetizer was great, the salmon even better and perfect amounts so I could manage to really eat it without significant amounts of leftovers. I had a glass of wine and it was good quality as well.

Wishing I could give 6 stars!

We had an unforgettable dinner last night at La Masseria in East Greenwich. My wife, son, cousin, and I (party of four) enjoyed an absolutely flawless evening from start to finish.

We started with a delicious round of appetizers:
Shrimp cocktail – perfectly chilled and fresh, with a zesty cocktail sauce
Oysters on the half shell – briny, smooth, and incredibly fresh
Burrata with cured ham – creamy and rich, perfectly complemented by the savory ham

For our entrées, we shared:
Shrimp Scampi – tender shrimp in a light garlic and white wine sauce over pasta, full of flavor without being too heavy
Chicken Parmesan – crispy, juicy, and topped with just the right amount of marinara and melted cheese
Veal Parmesan – tender and flavorful, cooked just right with a beautiful crust and a generous layer of cheese

Each dish was beautifully plated and arrived hot and fresh. The portions were generous and satisfying without being overwhelming.

To finish the night, we shared two outstanding desserts:
A rich chocolate cake with almonds—decadent, moist, and a perfect texture
A classic crème brûlée with a crisp sugar top and smooth, creamy custard inside

The service was equally impressive—friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. We felt truly taken care of from the moment we arrived until the last bite.

The ambiance is warm, elegant, and inviting—ideal for both special occasions and casual nights out. La Masseria continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Rhode Island.

Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return!

The food was amazingly presented, and the flavor was amazing. Tonight’s dinner was oven roasted rabbit served with roasted vegetables. The dish was tender and savory. The seasoning didn’t overpower the natural taste of the rabbit and made for a balanced and nuanced experience. What stole the show was the blueberry ricotta pie! Its creamy texture and mild tang from the sauce on top was a perfect way to end the meal. Not too sugary, but a treat for the senses none the less.

The atmosphere is also fantastic. It was like being transported through time and space to a rustic Italian villa. The interior is beautiful, clean, and well designed. The regulars are also extremely welcoming. I sat next to an older couple who shared their laughter and warmth with me happily. Everyone is made to feel welcome here which is difficult to find.

An extension of the atmosphere is the Service. Rachel, the bartender, was amazing and made sure I wanted for nothing. Bright and vibrant with a charming sense of humor are her most famous traits, and it made for a wonderful experience that hope I can appreciate with my friends someday soon.

frequent diner. Made a reservation more than a week ago for a specific table to celebrate with 2 ftiends, which was confirmed over the phone. Got to the restaurant on time and preferred table had been given away to someone else. Hostess just shrugged and said tables are first come first serve. They told us that we might’ve chosen to go elsewhere. Pretty much ruined the evening being stuck in the back of the restaurant in a corner instead. Service was super slow. Could hardly wait to get out of there.

So my wife and I visited for a date night, we had been here before and enjoyed the food. Our most recent visit was questionable. Service was decent and friendly enough. The charcuterie board was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. Nothing on it was explained, there was no jam or bread served with it. The meats were awful and there was only once cheese option with around 5 slices which accompanied a board full of mediocre meat.
I ordered the fettuccine lobster, with fresh lobster and was told the lobster is delivered daily, while I am not questioning the integrity of the server, the meat most certainly tasted frozen. Hard and chewy.
My wife’s meal, the chicken and the sausage were both visibly over cooked.
Three stars becuase prior visits, the food was quite good, but if this were to be rated as our first experience, it would earn two.

A five star experience in every way, La Masseria RI has a beautiful ambiance, incredible food, and a maître d’ and staff who provide the perfect amount of attention. Jose is an absolute gem. This is our new favorite place whether it’s an important occasion or just a desire for a wonderful night out.

My husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago, as recommended by a bartender at a local brewery. We were pleased with the service and food (although the pomodoro sauce was a little bland). The zucchini appetizer was amazing!

We love La Masseria in NYC so we made it our first stop when we got to Rhode Island. We sat outside and had Peter as our waiter. He recommended the veal parm which was outstanding. All our meals were hot and served quickly. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Horrible for the second time. Will not go back. Server inattentive at best. Rushed and basically incompetent. No checking in for an hour. Didn’t replenish water. We all sat down by 6:37 for our 6:30 reservation. 2 of us ordered salads. These came out right away. Then….Our meals came at 8:25!!!! No apology. No explanation. Rude! Prices are ridiculously high. Margaritas 18.00 each!! Glass of house wine 16.00. Risotto 33.50. We make much better at home. Bland. Artichoke salad 24!! This restaurant has mediocre Italian food and atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Does not warrant these prices.
