At our Sandersville, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I visited the drive-thru on Monday, December 8th for lunch. Placed my order and added plain cheesecake for dessert, and the young lady (who was very friendly and professional) told me all they had was oreo cheesecake. I didn’t really want that, but needed to satisfy my sweet tooth, so I decided to take it anyway. When I got to the pick-up window, she had taken the initiative to prep a slice of plain cheesecake! Kudos for the great customer service!

Went through drive thru. Get home and was missing an item that we ordered and paid for. Had to drive back and asked if I could get something to compensate me for my time and gas for having to come back. She said yes if I’d pay for it. BS!

waited forever at the drive thru window for the clerk to finally tell me it was going to take 5 minutes for the grill to warm up. What??!! Why was the grill not already on at 1pm during lunch rush? And why did it take so long for them to tell me and turn it on?? I couldn’t wait any longer – so no lunch for me today!

Ordered the seafood platter and you would think the food would be hot and fresh as long I waited to get my order. The shrimp tasted as if it had been cooked for hours. Tasha and the lady (didn’t get her name) at the drive-thru were very friendly.
