Usually always go to the Cafe Rio on Eastern at Silverado Ranch. Happened to be closer to the St. Rose location. Definitely should have made the extra drive. Ordered a Burrito and Tortilla soup. Literally, half my order was missing, going with I should have looked in the bag. Never had to even worry about that before. I still have the Eastern location, it’s not all bad.

Come on guys, this is bad. Staff polite, but this restaurant is not well maintained. The food areas aren’t not being maintained and are dirty. The soda machine has not been cleaned either. Cafe Rio is my favorite, but I will not come back to this store and this has left a bad impression. You guys are at Town Square which is a mecca for locals and tourism, be better.

I was having a terrible experience with Café Rio this day I went to two different locations and both locations said that they lack the experience to make the tortillas and they had not been taught yet so I went to the third location by town Square and the person working happened to be a guy named Kenneth really super cool guy he brightened up me and my girlfriend’s day by helping us out and making us the right order. Any said he understands the frustration. He was really helpful. He gave us a little bit of a discount, which was huge checked on us multiple times when we were eating all around grape dude great person in he brightened up my day quite a bit, and I’ll be coming back to Café Rio because of him.

Traveling for work walked in at 8:10 store hours said they closed at 9pm I figured yeah I’m kind late but not obnoxiously late (I try not to be that guy). Doors were open staff rudely said they were left open so the remaining customers could leave and that they weren’t serving which I was cool with it’s a Sunday I get it. But one of the other staff made a snide comment as I was walking away that triggered this review. I simply walked in through the open doors during business hours and when turned away politely said ok no worries. Not that guy to write negative reviews but come on almost an hour before close and you’re going to be that rude? Not a fan. Sure the foods ok love me some cafe rio as a cheat meal it’ll be awhile for me.

One of my favorite quick and healthy meal place.
The staff here are pretty great and always amazing at keeping the line moving fast. So I have never waited to long
I had such a great experience ,staff polite and friendly and fast service ,definitely the best Cafe Rio in town.
I love their yummy big salads/tostadas, also one of the things I like about this place too ,is that all the ingredients are freshly prepared and served in front of you and you can customize your order in any way you want. Everything they have is fresh and delicious. Love that they make fresh flour tortillas.
They also have a good rewards app where you can earn free meal when you collect enough points.
We frequent Cafe Rio regularly.
We always have good experiences. If we experience a problem they are quick to resolve. This is definitely our go-to for Mexican-American food with healthy options.

We highly recommend Cafe Rio at Town Square. Their salad is fresh, and their burritos are very tasty. The staff at the Town Square location is very nice. Tyler especially is a hard worker and very attentive to the customer’s needs.

I had been coming to eat here several times. But this time we noticed something different. The whole Restaurant is a mess. Not clean like before. But the service. The people had good attitude. I went to the bathroom and it was so bad. I think they need to put more effort on that.

If you’re into mystery beans, micro portions, and rude service — this is your spot! They didn’t even have pinto beans in the chafer, and it looked like nobody had checked it all day. I had to ask about it like I was part of their kitchen staff.
Then came the rice… the guy scooped a full spoon, dropped half on my plate, and proudly put the other half back like he was saving it for a special occasion. I asked for extra meat (said I’d pay for it, no problem) and even told him, “Since I’m paying, please give one full spoon.” He gave me three tiny pieces. THREE. I’ve seen more meat on a salad.
When I told him other locations actually serve food like normal humans, he said, “That’s how we do it.” Oh cool — I didn’t realize stingy was the new standard.
Add in a rude attitude and zero effort, and that was it for me. I left the food right there. If you like attitude with your half-scoops, you’ll love it here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I recently had the pleasure of going to this restaurant and decided to leave a review because of how wonderful my experience with the staff there was. A young man named Seamus helped me and he was so kind, respectful, and suggested which dishes and drinks I try – the horchata was delicious, along with the nachos and tortilla soup! He greeted me when we came in and wished us a good evening when we left. I hope he is working there when I go again!
